"We recently had a new pool designed and constructed by Coral Pools, Mike Fili. Mike has turned a dull non-remarkable back yard into a thing of beauty. With not much space to work with, Mike made the pool area something to be envied. The waters features, fountain, and deck jets, provide a beautiful addition with the waters giving everyone a wonderful sense of Zen as the water flows throughout the pool. The whole experience was non-stressful and exciting. Although everyone was struggling with supply chain issues, Mike kept us posted and managed to complete the project timely. Mike's biggest fans are our two miniature Schnauzers Harper and Holly. They spend their days swimming, frolicking in the water and sun bathing on the pool steps. Thanks Mike and team for a job well done!!!!!"

Customers say: Quality work

"I’ve been a happy hot tub owner since 2023, and I can't recommend this team enough. Mike has been incredible since the very beginning, providing expert advice and consistent support over the years. Today, I had the pleasure of meeting James, who helped me resolve a heater issue. Even though it was my first time working with him, he was just as professional and efficient as Mike. What I value most is their honesty; they always try to help me troubleshoot issues myself first to save me a service fee. It’s rare to find such dedicated and customer-oriented providers. Thank you, Mike and James, for the amazing support!"

Pool Construction and Installation questions, answered by experts

A few different types of land surveys can help determine certain features and boundaries of your property. These include:

  • Boundary surveys describe the actual borders of a property. These are generally required when trying to get construction permits issued.

  • Location surveys provide much of the same information as a boundary survey but also include in-depth information about any improvements made to your property.

  • Mortgage location surveys are usually required by lenders and title companies before financing or offering an insurance policy.

  • Site-planning surveys are done before applying for building permits and can be issued before any major home improvements.

  • Topographic surveys provide a formal map of land elevations. It can also describe the location and size of natural features and any land improvements.

If you or your mortgage lender think your land survey needs to be more accurate, double-check the survey report and get at least a second opinion from the original surveyor and an inspector, if possible. Although it’s unlikely, even reputable surveying companies can make mistakes. An inaccurate survey can cause problems down the road in the case of any property line disputes, so it’s best to resolve any inaccuracies as quickly as possible.

Soil testers and licensed excavators are often the professionals you hire if you need a perc test. In some cases, structural engineers will also be able to conduct the test for you. In many municipalities, you’ll need your professional on-site to dig and fill the holes with water, as well as a representative from your local building department or health department. That representative is the individual who will determine whether your test passes or fails.

Yes, new home construction will always require building permits, no matter where you live. In most cases, you’ll need a general construction permit, along with plumbing and electrical permits for the utility lines in your home. Depending on where you live, you’ll likely find that you also need permits for things like connection to a sewage system or installing exterior components, like decks, driveways, patios, and curb cutouts. Leave navigating the permits required for new home construction to a professional to ensure your home is built legally and safely.

Grading complexity, debris removal volume, equipment, labor, and permits determine expense levels.
