"I got bids from 4 contractors and they ranged from $4000 to $8000 for basically the same ton/SEER.   Two contractors were large operations that sent out "salesmen" who didn't assess what I needed but spent an hour "pushing" their units.  But Peter, the owner of Coast to Coast, came himself.   He asked questions about how much I used the air conditioning, what temperature I set my thermostat at, went into the attic and checked ducts, checked my windows, etc.    Coast to Coast was not the lowest bid but Peter was the person I had the most confidence in.   I was not disappointed.    The installation went smoothly and, when I had questions following the installation, he answered them promptly and to my satisfaction.
