"Prior to calling Global, I thought that I would have to replace the air handler. Steve examined the unit, talked me out of replacing it, installed a variable speed blower and a dehumidifying thermostat which saved me a lot of money. Dehumidifying allows me to raise the temp on the thermostat and still be very comfortable which also saves me money on my electric bill every month. Global is professional, courteous, on-time, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. I recommend them to anyone."

"Where to start with this fiasco. They service Alvista Metrowest where I live. Last month my AC compressor went out, as I’ve heard it—multiple units here did. They took 7 days to come and replace the unit. Only sent out one pair of technicians to service multiple units who only finished one or two units per day. We spent seven days in a 90+ degree apartment, with outside temperatures so hot, not even the portable AC unit we had to buy could keep up with keeping a single room cool. Eventually, they finally came and replaced the AC inside unit. A few weeks later, I’m noticing issues with the AC. The brand new compressor keeps turning off and flipping the breaker on the condenser unit outside, maybe something they should have checked when replacing the inside unit. We reported this on Sunday, they sent out a technician on Monday who quite literally entered the apartment and saw the air was out, said he was as going to go out and fix the unit AND SIMPLY LEFT WITHOUT ANY NOTICE OR COMMUNICATION. It is now Thursday and every single day there’s a promise that someone would be out here to fix it and STILL NOTHING. if we’re keeping a tally here, that is now 10 days that we have been trying to live inside a 90+ degree apartment when we both work from home and have jobs that require us to use our own network. Called them again today and was promised someone would be over at 6 PM and, once again, no show. I have asked the apartment complex if I can hire my own HVAC specialists to come out and have been denied because this company holds the warranty to the machines and any other third party would void the warranty. Completely unreliable, especially in emergency situations. Do not hire them."
