Wish I would've hired Green Energy Spray Foam Insulation years ago for my home insulation needs as they went above and beyond exceeding my expectations! Our house get too cold during the winter, and hot as an oven during the summer. We called Green Energy Spray Foam Insulation. I spoke with Camille and explained the situation. I was interested in having the walls and attic insulated. Next Day, Mr. Touma arrived and very straight forward with what needed to be done. No up-selling or hidden costs, and even assured attic insulation alone would satisfy my needs sparing me the extra cost of wall insulation! This company put in time and effort and accomplished outstanding results as the temperateness in the house felt wonderful allowing us to sleep much more comfortably. As for their crew, they were awesome. Do not hesitate to call them. Highly recommended.

I can not say enough good things about Green Energy Spray Foam. The owner and his employees are amazing people. They are all super friendly, professional and they know what they are doing. This is not a fly by night company. They showed up on time, cleaned up, walked through and gave me tons of information on the product and how well it works. As soon as I walked in I could immediately tell a difference in temperature. I basically have a Yeti Cooler wrapping my new man cave. If I could leave them a 1000 star review I would, they deserve it. Great price, great product and great people. I highly recommend anyone in Florida to contact this company if you're looking at spray foam insulation. You will be happy you used them. I will always recommend Green Energy Spray Foam to every single one of my friends and family members. Thanks again Green Energy Spray Foam! You guys rock! Adam Shields

Contacted the company office three separate times to schedule an appointment. Spoke directly to what I believe was the owner twice. Never contacted back to schedule an appointment. Will be asking for a refund.

I am filling this rating in so I want be harassed anymore by Angie's List to do a review for this provider - but I bought a discount for this work, so they know it was done. I didn't want to review this guy since he was extremely nice and helpful, but I don't think the contractor he hired did a good job in the attic. All I know is I heard the contractor that was blowing in the insulation tell the operator (not sure of his exact title) that he got MOST of the insulation. But when I ask the worker if he was able to get to all the attic spots - he told me he got it all - WELL NO, that is not what you told the other guy. So I am sure that there was spots they could not reach due to the attic crawl space, but he wasn't going to tell me that. But I am in a wheelchair and cannot actually validate anything, so therefore I did not want to punish the company with a bad review if they actually didn't do bad work.  But as you can easily see - there is a major discrepancy in the stories. So it is best to not rely on this review because I would have put a D for quality if he missed spots but I put a B. I am not sure of the cost either since it has been so long.

Someone did slip and slightly damaged the ceiling in the bathroom. They did not realize that though. It was easily repaired. Other than that great job.

I was very disappointed in the $165 energy audit performed by Green Energy.  While the provider was very communicative and punctual, those are the only positive things I can say about my experience.  He was in my home for approximately 90 minutes.  He brought a thermal gun to show me where my heat/airconditioning loss is occurring.  Using the thermal gun, he was able to show me that the incandescent lights are hot and should be replaced with CFL or LED bulbs when possible.  He advised me to point my air-conditioning ducts straight towards the floor to maximize the air flow.
He told me that my air conditioning units are good after seeing the indoor unit.  He looked at the indoor units for less than 30 seconds and did not look at the outdoor units at all.
I was also provided an estimate for two kinds of insulation if I chose to add it to my attic.  He gave a very good description of the differences between the insulation types.
In conclusion, I felt that $165 was a very expensive way to find out that I should change my light bulbs and add consider adding insulation to my attic.

Basically fine although it took them 2-3 hours to warm up the pump.  I don't know if this is normal or not.  They did fit us in on short notice which I really appreciated.

Very disappointing. At the beginning things were great. Secretary was very friendly. We scheduled them to come out to the house on a weekend. When I called them to verify they were still coming the secretary said they had canceled my service because they hadn't gotten back my signature page. This hiccup was understandable, their was a miscommunication which happens. When I tried to reschedule I was told that weekends wouldn't work anymore and they wanted to come during the day while I would be at work. I was a hesitant and had to think it over. My husband is on deployment and like anyone I was nervous to allow someone in my home while I wasn't there. I eventually agreed and they came and did the first spray foam job. I noticed spray foam oozing out of my old attic vents. I asked the guys who installed and the owners if they had sealed up the old vents  before spraying. They said they had but it was normal for some foam to get through. This was more than just a little bit of foam. I had Clay electric come to my home for my rebate and the guy who inspected the attic told me my attic was the hottest spray-foamed attic he had ever been in. I began to panic because spray foam is expensive and I can't tell if the job was done correctly or not. I was connected to another company through several referrals who came out to inspect my attic for free. He measured the foam and told me I had about 2 inches of spray foam all over the attic and in my contract I was supposed to have 5 inches. He also noticed missed spots. I called back this company and had them come out again. This time the owner kept telling me how they normally don't come back out to houses and how my attic is small. He said it was normal for some spots to be missed. I told him that the gentleman who had inspected the attic showed me that it was more than just a few spots. I felt a little bullied by the owner. He made me feel like I had given him a very hard job to do and I should feel guilty to ask him to come back out to my house. They did come back out for a second time. I had my guy come back and inspect the attic. Half the attic had been re-sprayed and the other half hadn't been touched. He took pictures and educated me on what I should have. I called this company back again. By this time they had taken out the 2nd of 3 payments on the attic without calling me first. I asked the secretary through email to please give me a call before so I could approve the payment as I was having issues with the work being performed and never heard back from her. I had my guy meet with this company and he told them what needed to be fixed in the attic. The company came out again (after giving me a 30 minute notice while I was at work) and re-sprayed. The owner told me they had finished the job and that my guy had come back out to my house and said that it was done correctly. This made no sense to me because he didn't tell me he was coming back out to my house. I asked the guy who I had been working with, who hadn't charged me anything and who had shown me proof of what I should have for what I paid. He denied going to my house and told me if he had he would have told me. In the end the job was eventually done but it was such a hassle. My last payment went through on Friday and they withdrew it from my bank account without calling like I had asked for. I felt like I was given the run around. I feel like this company is completely untrustworthy and will never use them again. I thought they were good because of all of the good reviews on Angieslist. I will let everyone I know to not use this company.

UPDATE: It's been five months since they spray foamed the attic. My electricity bill is higher than it has ever been. With my previous insulation of fiberglass sometimes in Fall/Winter my bill would go to around $80 or $90 for a few months. With the spray foam my electricity bill stays over $100. The lowest bill was $120. I live in a small home. Extremely disappointed and I feel like I waisted money. To top it off the master bedroom tends to be hotter and colder than the rest of the house.

Overall this was  good experience. I didn't know what to expect with an energy inspection but the technician gave me several ideas for making my house more energy efficient. I was surprised that he did not try to up-sell me on his services but just gave me good advice and suggestions for improvement.
