He came back a few times with design options for us. We found what we wanted. He then assigned Brian to be the frontman to our project. "I hired Steve DeBlauwe of Concrete Paving Plus in 2022 to raise a sunken living area? the base for a full home remodel. Initially, the slab looked fine. But about a year later, cracks began to appear. And, then fast forward to this past year and we now have complete failure with deep structural cracks, breaking through the microcement flooring and underlayment. Engineers have confirmed it was poured with no bonding agent, no surface prep, and no rebar?only fibermesh concrete. These shortcuts caused water intrusion, pest access, and total concrete failure. I?ve been told the only fix is to tear everything out? including the kitchen remodel, impact doors, and flooring?and start over. Repairs are estimated at $40,000+ just for the concrete portion. I paid $17,221.65 via Angi Pay and gave Steve a chance to make it right. He never responded. I have since filed complaints with DBPR, Angi, and the BBB. I wanted the job done well and done right. It wasn?t."
