"Excellent experience from start to finish! They replaced our kitchen faucet, and the entire process was quick, professional, and hassle-free. The plumber arrived on time, explained everything clearly, and did a great job with the installation. The new faucet looks perfect, and they left the area spotless when they were finished. I really appreciated the quality of the work and the friendly customer service. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing plumbing work and will use them again in the future!"

"We use Perdido Heating & Air.  I have a maintenance contract with them and they did the Fall one.  It was the last check for the year of 2016.  They do a good job.  They were here the 18th of October 2016.  It costs around $98 to $100.  I would absolutely use them again.  They've always done a good job.  I've had them for several years and they always come when they're supposed to.  They never leave any mess."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

Routine plumbing maintenance in FL involves managing hard water buildup by flushing water heaters frequently. If you rely on a private well, schedule an annual inspection for the pump and pressure tank. Properties with septic systems require pumping every three to five years. Prepare exposed pipes for occasional hard freezes, and schedule camera inspections to clear tree roots from older sewer lines. Always inspect pipes for stress after severe storms.

Helpful?

Keep water testing kits on hand to monitor iron and hardness levels from your private well. Stock up on foam pipe insulation sleeves to protect exposed exterior and crawl space plumbing during sudden winter freezes in FL. Store a dedicated shutoff tool near your main water valve to act quickly during hurricane emergencies. Always use bacterial, septic-safe drain treatments instead of harsh chemicals to protect your system from severe damage.

Helpful?

Properties with private wells and septic systems add extra inspection steps to plumbing projects. Sandy, shifting soils and high water tables in Pace complicate underground pipe installations and increase the risk of sewer line misalignment. Homes built before the mid-1990s contain outdated polybutylene or galvanized pipes that require full replacement. Additionally, houses built on concrete slabs demand specialized concrete cutting to access and repair underground lines safely.

Helpful?

Your Pace home is a prime candidate for plumbing upgrades if it was built before 1995 and features outdated polybutylene or galvanized pipes. Orange or brown sink stains indicate heavy iron levels requiring immediate water treatment solutions. Homes with septic systems older than twenty years need thorough professional evaluations. Look for visible moisture or rust in crawl spaces, and schedule an inspection if your property experienced past hurricane flooding.

Helpful?

Watch out for quotes that omit required permits for major plumbing work. A missing state license or local registration is a major warning sign. Be cautious if a contractor ignores backflow prevention requirements or fails to address older pipe materials like polybutylene. For homes with private wells or septic systems in Pace, ensure the professional includes compliance steps for those specific setups to keep your property safe and up to code.
