Call us today!

"Where do I start? First off, Mike was absolutely amazing to work with—knowledgeable, professional, and caring. When our well pump stopped working, he answered my call right away and came straight to our home, unlike other companies that wanted to spend time on the phone guessing what the issue might be. That alone showed us the difference between a company that truly cares about helping people versus one only focused on profits. Mike quickly diagnosed the problem, kept us informed every step of the way, and even worked directly with our warranty company to make things smoother. When it came time to repair the pump, he stayed late into the night to ensure our household had running water again. Most companies would have left and returned the next day, but Mike’s dedication stood out—he wasn’t leaving until the job was done right. I can’t recommend this company enough. You’ll be in great hands with Mike, and we know if any future issues arise with our well, he’ll be the first person we"

"Before I did this review I called this company multiple times to try to resolve my issue. Never did anyone ever call me back. I had worked with Nathan K. during the repipe due to some issue with how they performed the repipe. He corrected my issue and I was happy with the finished look. At the same time they were repiping my home the HVAC unit went out 10/6/2024. I asked if they would give a quote to replace this unit ($10,145.00) I approved to replace it. This is where the problems have been going forward with HVAC system. Whom ever installed the my system was not experienced or just had poor workmanship (per second HVAC company opinion). First issue was in December 2024 I got a power bill for my vacant home that was still being repaired from my slab leak for almost $400.00. I called Her and His about this. Nathan K. Called me and said they were no longer in the HVAC service since my install (This is not my problem its HER and His). He hired another company to come out and correct the installation mistake (apparently emergency heat would never cut off once the heat pump shut off). He never told me what they did to correct it. I asked him the help me with the $400.00 power bill since it was their fault. He said he would but never did anything about it. Going forward to September 2025. I have been try to sell or lease my home for 9 months (so no one is living in my home) with no luck. Finally I have a lease on it. The clients move in and start using HVAC system. 4 days later they call and said there is a water leaking up in my garage and back bed room floors. You can imagine how I feel at this point I got a sick feeling in my stomach (My I remind you I spent over $23,000 dollars with Her and His Plumbing to repair my home). We figured the leak was coming from HVAC system (This system is only 11 months old). So I called another HVAC company to come out. They found out the system was under charged with freon and the system was freezing up causing excessive condensation flow which flowed over the drip pan. Also they found ducting is not properly sealed at the supply plenum with no mastic tape, the platform was not leveled (this caused my floors to get wet) and NO PERMIT WAS PULLED FOR THE INSTALL OF HVAC TO LAKE COUNTY. We did do a permit for plumbing. What I want is accountability from this company to pay and fix my unit correctly? I have been patiently waiting for someone from this company to call but guess they got their money and they going to screw me. I am beyond ****** right now. The right thing to do is fix my issues ASAP. FYI, I am not going to let this go!!!!!!!!"

Hello folks, there's a new drain care company in town! Here at JAX Hydro-Jetters LLC, were are specialists in our field! "I would give these folks twenty stars if I could. They were professional, thorough and reasonably priced....most of all they provided a solution for a clogged, compromised sewer pipe that otherwise could have been disastrous. My recently purchased house was built in 1968 and soon after moving in, the drain kept clogging. After jetting the line and an initial de-scaling/cleaning attempt, the video that was taken revealed that my sewer pipe under my slab was severely compromised, fractured and with holes in multiple spots. Other tradespeople I spoke with said that my floor and slab would need to be cut open to dig out the old sewer pipe and replace it with PVC---an ENORMOUS expense and undertaking.I am so glad I called Jax Hydro-Jetters. They were able to re-line the existing sewer pipe with a strong, durable coating without disrupting my home. Problem solved. I can't tell you the peace of mind they brought to me and my husband. It is priceless and I am forever grateful. I would HIGHLY recommend you call them for any clogging disruption you are experiencing in your home. You will be so happy you did."

Septic Tanks questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can pump a septic tank too much. The ideal pumping schedule varies based on capacity, water usage, and household size. If you pump the septic tank more frequently than your recommended pumping schedule, the beneficial bacteria can leach into the drain field, causing an imbalance and solid waste build-up.

Deciding between an engineered septic system and a conventional one depends on property size, soil quality, local regulations, and environmental factors. If your property has limited space, poor soil, or is close to sensitive environmental features, an engineered system may be required. Professional site evaluations, considering water usage, long-term plans, and budget constraints, can help determine the appropriate choice. Consulting with a septic system professional is crucial for ensuring compliance with regulations and selecting the best system for your property's unique needs.

Many contractors offer warranties for parts and labor. Confirm terms before hiring.

If you aren’t sure if you have a septic tank or a cesspit, you can check your property records or inspect your drainage system. A septic tank has an outlet pipe that allows liquid to drain into a soakaway or drain field, while a cesspit is a sealed tank that requires frequent emptying. If you notice a manhole cover and no nearby drainage field, it’s likely a cesspit. Signs like slow drainage or a frequent need for pumping can also provide clues. A professional inspection is the easiest way to confirm if your home runs on a septic tank or cesspit.

You can cover a septic tank riser with dirt, but it’s not always the best idea. If you have a plastic riser and you bury it, you can easily lose track of it since you won’t be able to find it with a metal detector. Make sure to clearly note where your rise is in your yard so that you’re able to access it easily the next time you or a septic pro needs it. Don’t bury the cover too deep or you could place too much stress on it and make it too difficult to access in the future.
