"Mr. Miller and his associate arrived at my home as scheduled and started working immediately. I had roof's soft washed, entire house pressure washed, front lanai and driveway and sidewalk pressure washed, back lanai pressure washed, pool frame and screens cleaned. The back lanai was pretty bad with mold all over pavers and pool cage and screen had never been cleaned. Who knew a screen could hold so much dirt! Mr. Miller and his associate did an excellent job with everything. I have recommended their services to neighbors and friends. Mr. Miller also gave me coupons to give when making referrals that would give potential clients a discount. I thought this was very nice. I will be contacting Mr. Miller again when it is time to pressure wash again."

"We hired Michael, M&M Servicez, to do a full cleanup sweep of our property. Shrub and tree trimming, garden weeding, lawn mowing, everything. He and his crew showed up as scheduled and literally transformed our yard and garden areas from an overgrown mess to a respectable space in just a few hours. The guys treated the plants with respect, even recognizing that a waaay overgrown plant was Tarragon, not a weed, and trimming it properly. Solid, hard work at a very reasonable price. We have contracted Michael Jordan and M&M for monthly maintenance of all lawn and garden elements. I recommend them with confidence."

"I was having my master bathroom remodeled and the person that I paid upfront to complete the job, destroyed my home! Without exaggerating the damage this person did to my home was devastating! I called European Painters to have them take a look and advise me to my next step. When Joe arrived he just shook his head in disgust that the damage that had was caused by someone who didn't have any idea of what they were doing! He proceeded to give me an estimate to repair the damage and then for his company to complete the remodel correctly. This nightmare has been ongoing for the last 7 months with the original person and once Joe's team took over, less than 14 days and they almost finished! They are amazing! The professionalism and determination to fix what was needed help us get this project complete was incredible! Thank you for creating a master bath that I can brag about to absolutely everyone!!"

Pressure Washing FAQs, answered by experts

You can certainly utilize a pressure washer to effectively clean your garage floor. If you're dealing with oily residue, consider adding a degreaser to the pressure washer solution. Prior to using the pressure washer, make sure to thoroughly sweep the garage floor to eliminate any loose dirt or debris.

Begin the pressure washing process from the back of your garage, which is closest to your home, and work your way towards the front. This ensures that the water and dirt are directed outside. In case you've applied a cleanser or degreaser, it's a good idea to give the floor another pass with clean water using the pressure washer to ensure a thorough rinse.

This process doesn’t necessarily require soap or detergent, but it definitely helps. You can get by with just using water, but remember, brick requires a lower-than-average pressure level when compared to concrete, so forgoing detergent increases the time it takes to spot clean stains and debris once you finish with the pressure washer. Brick is especially porous, so the less water you use on it, the better.

You should avoid using a pressure washer on any surface or item that could be damaged by the high-pressure spray, as some materials are too delicate to withstand the force.

Key items and surfaces to avoid include:

  • Electrical Components: Never pressure wash electrical systems, as water can cause short-circuits and create a safety hazard. This includes utility meters, breaker boxes, electrical outlets, generators, and HVAC or air conditioner units.

  • Delicate and Fragile Materials: Fragile items can crack, shatter, or be stripped by the pressure. Avoid pressure washing windows, glass, light fixtures, shingled roofs (especially asphalt), and stucco.

  • Painted, Stained, or Sealed Surfaces: Unless your goal is to strip the finish, do not pressure wash painted surfaces, stained wood (like decks), or anything with a protective seal that could be stripped away. Be especially cautious with older surfaces that may contain lead paint.

  • Soft Woods and Certain Decking: Delicate surfaces like softwood, composite decking, and antique or wooden patio furniture can be etched or damaged. If you must wash wood, use a lower-powered pressure washer with a wide-angle nozzle to prevent damage.

  • Living Things: Never use a pressure washer on people, pets, or plants. The force can cause serious injury and will destroy landscaping.

Always begin by removing large debris, leaves, and branches from your lawn to make room for the rest of your lawn maintenance checklist. Move on to mowing, weeding, and edging in the spaces between your lawn and garden. Lastly, clean off all hardscapes, porches, and patios for a fresh and tidy appearance.

Yes, pressure washers can remove rust stains from concrete. However, when coupled with an acid treatment, they can be even more effective. Just be sure to use a minimum of a 15-degree nozzle to prevent damage to the surface, and users must also be careful not to get in the way of the pressure washer’s jet as they can cut through skin and cause injury.
