"This is the second time we have used this company and we are extremely pleased with all services provided. Brian and his team cleaned our tiles and grout and they look awesome and like new, we have a white tile floor and it was very old and dirty looking. Brian and his team cleaned and stained the grout where it now looks like a new floor. We also had our carpets cleaned and they look new. We would definitely use them again for any tile and carpet needs. Excellent work and affordable service."

"Tom was awesome! He came and checked out 2 rooms that the carpeting was totally soiled and had been that way for a couple of years until we were able to get tenants out. I really thought nothing could be done, I was going to have to tear the carpets out. Tom looked at it and said he'd do his best but it may have some stains that can't be removed but they would be lighter. I agreed to try. WOW! It almost looks new! A few very light spots but hardly noticeable! I would definitely recommend Eco Green! Customer service was excellent as well!"

Carpet Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Our guide can also work for old tomato stains. If you’re trying to get rid of a lingering spot from spaghetti dinners past, you can skip step one and jump directly to step two.

Pro tip: Allow soaking time for older stains. We recommend waiting at least 10 minutes between applying your cleaning solution and blotting it up.

The recommended solution is to use a brand-name stain remover you trust in your machine. However, you can make an upholstery cleaning solution using a mixture of hot water, vinegar, and dish soap.

Yes, you can use a hose to clean an area rug. Before you do, it’s a good idea to vacuum out dust and dirt and use a rug brush to remove pet hair and other debris. Just be careful not to be too aggressive, or you’ll damage the material. Bring your area rug outside and wet it evenly with your hose. You can even use a pressure washer on a light setting if you have a new, durable rug. Continue soaking until the water runs clean, and then hang your rug to dry.

You can clean some mattresses with a carpet cleaner that has an upholstery attachment. Mattresses made out of memory foam or other foam generally should not be cleaned with a carpet cleaner, although many traditional spring mattresses can be cleaned this way. Consult the manufacturer’s instructions to be sure. If you do use a carpet cleaner, be aware that it will take much longer to fully dry and be careful not to oversaturate the mattress.

Vinegar is acidic and makes a great cleaning agent for many items throughout the house, including some upholstery. It should not be used for any upholstery with the code S or X. It can be used for W labels. To use a vinegar solution, mix equal parts water and vinegar and blot the stain using a gentle circular motion with a clean microfibre cloth and then allow to dry completely. As with any DIY solution, test a small and inconspicuous section first.
