"Great job at fixing a sprinkler head, flushing out a line to improve water pressure to a zone, adding a new sprinkler and replacing a few heads to work more efficiently. Levi did great work and thought me a few things about my system. I can recommend Kinsley!"

"After comparing several irrigation companies, I finally chose RainScape, because communication with them was very pleasant. Ivan and Sara were always very responsive, enthusiastic, polite and friendly. And their quote was very reasonable. Ivan is an excellent troubleshooting expert with over 25 years of experience and is extremely knowledgeable. He led his team to replace the well pump and repair the sprinkler system for me. He worked very seriously and meticulously. The rusty old pump control box, a few broken conduit fittings and the messy wires on the wall were cleaned and tidied up in perfect order and tidy by him. He can also consider and understand the needs of their customer, adjusting their quote promptly, which showed their kindness and flexibility. Ivan and his team were very friendly, courteous, efficient and professional. They did an excellent job and left a very good impression on me. This is a great company. I highly recommend RainScape! Thank you, Ivan and RainScape!"

"Steven came over on a Saturday afternoon to provide an estimate on turf removal and landscaping of our front yard. He emailed a detailed quote the following morning which, thankfully, met our budget. California Palms Landscaping was one of six companies (I know it was a lot) that I asked to provide us with estimates for our yard. After each company arrived, I usually had a good idea whether I could work with them. And if it was a â maybeâ , I emailed a quick question to await a response. Stevenâ s quote was comparable to one other companyâ s quote; however, I appreciated that Steven was extremely easy to communicate with and he answered all my questions rather quickly via email or phone call. The other company was a little too pushy for business which made me a little uneasy. I had asked about several revisions to be made to our contract for which he was very understanding. Steven and his employees were professional and courteous onsite. They removed the lawn and vegetation; and replaced it with mulch and decomposed granite pathways delineated with benderboard. The intention was to create a blank slate so that I could later plant a garden composed of California native plants. I appreciate the hard work he and his employees put in the 3+ days of the project to create a beautiful front yard which we will enjoy in the coming seasons. Steven emailed the receipt the following day with, as promised, recommended locations to purchase plants and additional materials. I am so thankful that I found California Palms Landscaping for our front yard transformation."

Lawns questions, answered by experts

The growth of tall fescue grass often causes clumps of grass in your lawn. Avoid pulling up the clumps, as it won’t effectively remove them. Instead, dig out clumps and their roots when you notice them early in the growing season. Herbicides can also treat grass clumps, but they can also affect other plants you might not want to kill, so use them sparingly and always follow manufacturer instructions.

Trimming or removing trees promotes safety, prevents interference with structures or utilities, and enhances the aesthetic and health of the property landscape.

Branches, leaves, grass clippings, and landscaping debris are typically collected.

No, cleaning dog poop off artificial grass is straightforward. First, you’ll remove all the solid poop and place it in a bag. Then, you’ll use a homemade liquid dish soap and water solution to help wash and sanitize the area. Finally, you’ll hose the area with water to remove the soapy solution and odor.

According to the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, there are over 10,000 kinds of mushrooms, and some are harmful to both humans and animals. However, not all mushrooms are harmful—some feed on thatch and wood, which provides nutrients for grass and plants.

But unless you’re a mushroom expert (mycologist), it can be hard to tell poisonous mushrooms from non-poisonous. So if you have kids or pets (or both), removing them is the safest route to take.
