"Everything went great! The project took about 2 weeks. The old tar/gravel roof was removed and a new metal roof was installed on 3/4 of the house. The other 1/4 required TPO since it was a completely flat area. A lot of the old wood had to be replaced due to the age and termite activity. Flashing up around the chimney is holding up great and a part of my old rainwater collection gutter system was even reinstalled on the new roof. The fascia and soffit looks great too. We've been through 5-6 rain storms already and there has been no leaks. The wood around the garage was replaced and then the whole thing was wrapped in vinyl for a clean look. Two end features on the peak of the house were wrapped as well and it made the house look very clean and neat. As for cleanup, for the most part all went well. As can be expected, a few old roofing nails were found, but not that many. A few short pieces of metal roofing and a few leftover panels were left behind as well as a bag of screws. (We made a shed with them) Overall we were very satisfied. Other roofing companies we called were quoting us $18-20K without the addition of the extra wood and the cost of the fascia/soffit or the garage repair."

"WE hired Skyden Contractors to do total remodels of our guest bathroom and back porch after reviewing all of their 5 Star ratings on Home Advisor. I have to add, that after seeing their outstanding reviews, I called the company to set up an appointment for estimates. I came to find out that the owners and partners of Skyden were none other than Eric Stromme and his partner Junior. These are the 2 individuals who did a total remodel of my master bathroom 8 years ago before they formed their own company. I will add photos of this beautiful 8 year old remodel after this review is accepted - this beautiful remodel looks exactly the way it did 8 years ago – it is like stepping into a time warp! It is just as beautiful as it was 8 years ago due the outstanding quality of their work as well as the highest quality of their materials. So when I discovered these 2 men owned Skyden, I was unequivocally going to hire them, if Eric would promise me that Junior would be in charge of the job and would be there every day for the estimated 2 weeks for completion. Eric promised me that and sure enough, Junior and his small crew of 3 showed up on 13 January, 2020 as promised and completed both projects with total excellence and beauty as promised. They cleaned up the work site very well each day and the workers were very courteous and highly skilled. I will attach photos of these two beautiful rooms as soon as this review is accepted by Angie's List. I would add that the hurricane impact sliders made by Windoor are of the highest quality and each of the (4) 9 foot, 2 inch tall sliders weighed over 400 pounds each and they slide with ease due to the high quality tracks that they glide on. When those doors are shut, you can’t even hear the waterfall located nearby. The tile that my wife selected is gorgeous in both the bath room and the back porch. I’ll let the attached photos, which I will add to this review shortly, speak for the rest of the job. Truly amazing work done with perfection. Oh I have to add that Junior did numerous other side projects for a very minimal fee to include installing LED lights in the garage, a new faucet in the kitchen, 3 brass spickets for the outside of the house, installed new faucets in the master bathroom, explained to me how to drain the gas out of my whole house generator, etc….. There is no home project that Junior cannot accomplish with perfection. He is clearly in the genius category and he is a perfectionist."
