"My experience with Steve was shaky from the beginning. He wanted to start the work right away, but then ended up rescheduling our first appointment (the day of, an hour after he was due to arrive & after ignoring my phone calls all morning). When he did show up to do the work it ended up being different than what was described and unacceptable. I paid extra for more materials for him to come back and fix it (which he did) and the result was acceptable. The pavement began chipping away after 4 months, and while his work is guaranteed for 18 months, I have been unable to get a hold of him for repair (we agreed to an appointment when I originally reached out, but he has not returned a message for several months now). Overall, my experience was not great and my driveway is not great."

The owners, brothers Jesus and Manuel, were attentive, responsive, respectful, and eager to do their work to my complete satisfaction. Their crew of talented “artists” who prepped, poured, and painted the concrete design (sometimes on their hands and knees) did not miss one detail! They even returned to clean any remaining dust from grinding, make sure drains were draining, and to do any touch up necessary. My patio is gorgeous and was admired by all of my guests over the Holidays! I have been a home owner for 40 years and have never encountered such a competent contractor whose goal was for me to be thrilled with their work, which I was! ! Lelis Brick works with hardscape including all kinds of pavers installations, pool decks and tiles. The company started doing coping and tile installation in swimming pools and now it also installs pavers around pools. It has been in business since 2004.

We do Remodeling / Renovations for Kitchen and Baths, Gardens & Spas, Patios, Backyard Designs, Pool Decks, Outdoor Kitchens, Fireplaces, Seating Walls / Wall Blocks, Fire Pits and Driveways.

"Signed contract 1/1/2020, drive way was not finished until 3/25/2020. As of 10/2020, have many cracked pavers, goto Tremron to get spares, they are not rated for driveway use, so contractor used pavers not rated for the weight of a car. Next the pool deck and pool resurface. Used glass mosaic tiles for the water line. When worker was polishing the pool deck, he scratched the glass tile. Again many cracked tiles (used white line stone, see pictures for repairs). Skimmer is a complete disaster. (see pictures). Contractor's check was returned for NSF for permit, city contacted contractor, and me, I paid permit fee. This review is honest, if at anytime someone wants to contact me, please feel free to do so."

Brick stain doesn’t peel or chip and is much more durable than painting. That’s because the staining is absorbed into the brick instead of lingering on the surface as paint does. The color retains even under extreme weather conditions. Therefore, brick stain will save you a lot of time and cost on maintenance in the long run.

You will repoint over a fraction of the old mortar, but you should scrape away 1/2 to 1 inch of mortar from the joints before repointing. Otherwise, the repointing is only masking the weakened mortar instead of actually replacing it, which could put your chimney at risk of bigger, more expensive damages later on.

Stone can last anywhere from 15 to 100 years before it needs to be restored. You should clean your stone flooring or countertops regularly using cleaners designed for stone surfaces. Stay on top of vacuuming to prevent scratches from deteriorating stone faster, deep clean your stone surfaces using a pH-neutral cleaning solution at least once a year, and reseal the stone every one to five years, depending on foot traffic or usage.

Depending on the amount of soot present, you can vacuum some of it using a brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner. Then, remove the leftovers with a mild cleaner, such as dish soap or vinegar mixed with water. Before applying a cleaning solution, saturate the bricks with clean water to prevent the cleaner from penetrating beyond the surface and causing structural damage to the bricks.

Choose from an abundance of natural and synthetic options when perfecting your hardscape design. Stone veneer costs a bit less, holds up against the tests of time and weather, and also works best in curves and complex walls.

Natural stone, however, provides an organic look to a lawn while providing just as much strength as veneer. Don't forget you can chat with your mason about other common wall materials like brick, cinderblock, and concrete.
