Then he was able to hear the freon flowing into the air handler when the fan was off, thus causing the coils to freeze up. Was installed a new contacter and fixed the problem. Charge was $32, which seems kind of high, but is was Sunday and he got the job done, so I am happy. He also quoted me on a new system."
