"You need to add more than 5 STARS for reviews. JJ was wonderful to work with. We needed a pocket door replaced with a standard door. He came out gave me a quote and was out the next day to complete the work. JJ is very detailed and did a beautiful job getting my new door installed. I highly recommend him. Thanks JJ!!"
"Protect Your Home group with ADT has exceeding our expectations in getting a new home security system. In the end, everything was a breeze and not stressful whatsoever. We tested the siren and our neighbors 2 doors down could hear it; which is what we were hoping for!"

"I'm ecstatic! The process began with the salesman Ray Hendricks who is one of the nicest salesmen I've met in a long time. No pushy selling. He is very professional, friendly and knowledgeable about their products. He explained their entire process to me before he left so I knew what to expect as far as time frame and installation. It only took a couple of weeks before I received a call my windows were ready for install. The day of install Trey arrived early and began removing my security screens. Rick and Ray (different Ray, not the salesman) arrived with the windows and spent the entire day taking out the old windows and installing the new windows. They placed tarps on the floor under each window they replaced. They vacuumed after they finished and left no dust or dirt anywhere. Even using a HEPA vacuum to remove whatever dust might have been in the air. They replaced all furniture that had to be moved for ease of working, nothing was left out of place. I'm disabled and need the windows to open easily. They did not leave until they had me open and close each window, ensuring my satisfaction with ease of use. Trey then installed the security screens again. When the project was completely finished they removed everything and the inside and outside of my home looked beautiful. No trash left around, no tools, no window parts or pieces left laying around. Nothing. It was hard to know they had been at my home working. Before they left they gave me the permit and paperwork required by the city for my install. A simple phone call to their office put the city inspection in process. These three men worked like a well oiled team. Polite, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. They worked non-stop. What really amazed me, usually contractors use foul language throughout their work day, I never heard one bad word from any of the three men. Surprised me! Impressed me. The windows are beautiful. The install was a great experience. I've never been happier working with a contractor. Highly recommend this vendor."
"Great. My old Security System was overhauled and connected up to their monitoring system in just a few hours. Everyone was polite, courteous and clean ( no black smudges on walls, doors etc as with some sloppy workers). System is all working fine now and it was a painless process. Nice company to work with."
"Employees came on the appointed day and time. They worked for a full week and then another three days after the inspection. They removed all existing doors, windows, casements, and related structures. They were clean, neat, friendly, and professional. They cleaned up every day. Nothing was left open during the evening. Most days there were four workers on the job. The new doors and windows are very attractive, open and close easily, and are very secure. I am really pleased with the end result. I had a couple bids that were about $2,000 above and one that was $500 or so below. After this project was finished I have hired Mr. Build for another smaller project. "
"Sam went above and beyond. He suggested (without pressuring) upgrading my phone, cable and internet cabinet to be more modular and add backup. Work was professional and reasonably priced. Sam really knows his stuff; after my next phase of home improvement, I’m bringing him back to install a security system!"
"Brian Romano spent more than an hour at our home providing info on all security components. He walked our property several times discussing cam locations. Not once did he try to upsell any cams or other add-ones. Installers Kevin and Boston were outstanding. HIGHLY RECOMMEND UPFRONT TECHNOLOGIES."
Any type of dead bolt lock provides the highest level of safety for a single device. However, it’s also important to determine a lock's grade. Locks can come in either Grade 1, Grade 2, or Grade 3, which indicates how durable it is and if it’s constructed solidly. Safety experts recommend choosing locks based on Grade 1, which offers the highest level of durability.
False alarms happen, and they could be due to a problem you need to troubleshoot, like faulty wiring, a mistaken setting, or the system needing an update. Turn off your system by disconnecting its power supply (both the battery and transformer) and give the manufacturer a call to see what they advise.
Insurance companies weigh the amount of potential liabilities on your property to increase (or decrease) the cost of your home insurance. They will use several factors to decide if there are more chances for peril or injury to take place at your home. These factors include your location (whether you live in an area with high risk for natural disasters), the age and condition of your home, and whether you have any “attractive nuisances”—features that both increase the aesthetic of your home and potential for injury—like a pool or treehouse.

The cost of home automation averages around $1,000, with most projects falling between $200 and $2,000. The total cost depends on several factors, including the level of automation, brand, system features, home size, and location. For a DIY approach, basic home automation technology can cost between $100 and $500, though the scope and interaction between products may be limited. High-end, all-inclusive systems for larger homes can cost anywhere from $10,000 to $150,000, especially when they include smart appliances like refrigerators and dishwashers that require extensive wiring. Additional costs, such as subscriptions for maintenance services, can also impact the total price. It's often helpful to set a budget and consult with an expert to determine the best options for your home.
