"They came out on an emergency after a gutter cleaning company broke the nozzle and head off a water line running into the house. Until or unless it was fixed we had to have the water off at the water main coming into the house. They came out at 4p or later on a Friday I think it was and got it solved quickly."

"Stop here and go no further. I interviewed several plumbing companies, and decided to go with this one. I was not disappointed. Very professional, right on target, showed-up every day to do the work, no surprises, best value, the list goes on and on ... They installed a new main sewer line, from the street to my house, that was broken. They dug through landscape and concrete, keeping everything clean, and replaced everything back to how it was when the job was complete. The best! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

Sewer Cleaning questions, answered by experts

With a one-way cleanout, you can access your sewer line from one direction. Depending on the way it curves, a plumber can either access the side of the pipe that goes into your home or the side that goes to your yard. On the other hand, two-way cleanouts allow pros to access both sides of the sewer line, thanks to their dual-pipe design (they’re usually U-shaped).

Your sewer pro will take about an hour to complete your sewer line camera inspection. However, if your home does not have cleanout access and the pro needs to remove the toilet to access the sewer line, the time to completion will take longer. Note that this estimated time does not include the time for repair, drain cleaning, or any other services you may need.

To get rid of a sewer smell in your crawl space, you’ll have to find the source of the problem. If it has to do with your sewer lines, then repairing the line will help. You may need to make other repairs, like fixing your sump pump or encapsulating your crawl space to reduce moisture. After you make the repair, depending on the issue, you may still need to clean out your crawl space to get rid of the stink.

The best practice is to clean the sewer drain lines in your home once a year or every two years. Older homes could require more frequent maintenance. Keeping up on cleaning your sewer lines can prevent severe clogs, help ensure your system is working properly, and prevent expensive repairs.

DIY is not recommended due to safety risks and specialized equipment requirements. Hire professionals for effective clearing.
