"The tank was at that time when for maintenance purposes it needed to be drained. With lockdown and some family returning home, the system was getting more of a workout. I called (Wed) and they were able to set an appointment for me the next time they were in my area (following Mon). I was scheduled for the 2nd stop, but unfortunately, due to an emergency call, I was bumped to the following slot. Upon arrival, the technician was very professional and knowledgeable. He was set up and underway shortly after arriving. The process and clean up were effortless on my part, the technician took care of everything. They have done multiple services for and to my septic system over the years. I highly recommend them."

"They arrived on time, explained what they were doing, told me that my septic system did not have a screen which would have been an additional cost, suggested that some of the plants be removed (which I've done). The price that I was given on the phone was the price, minus the $10.00 coupon from Angie's List that I paid. Cleaned up after themselves. Would definitely use them again."

"I called the main number and they couldn't provide an estimate, so they gave me the boss' phone number (954-861-9251) and he was super helpful.  I made it clear that I had gotten an estimate from another company and was simply making sure that I wasn't overpaying, and he said that he didn't care if I bought from him since he likes helping people.
Ultimately, he confirmed that paying $1300 to pull out the Titan, change the wiring and circuit breakers and install a new tank was a reasonable estimate.  His estimate was $1050, but he said that I'd have to separately hire an electrician - his guy could probably do the job for $100-$150.
He didn't have anything nice to say about Titan water heaters, and since I had already called them twice this morning I shared his very low opinion (and even some of his profanity).  He validated my decision to put in a tank since there is plenty of space and they generally last longer.
I hope I don't ever need to hire another plumber, but if I do I'm going to call Milan and Son...or West End (who is working in my garage as I write this and will get a separate review in a few hours)

Septic Tanks questions, answered by experts

For a seamless septic tank service project in Jupiter, start with soil and water table testing to ensure proper system selection. Schedule work during dry months to avoid weather-related delays. Always call to have underground utilities marked before excavation, and plan for equipment access on narrow lots. Allow extra time for permit approvals and secure your contractor early, especially during hurricane season or peak demand.

Helpful?

In Jupiter, homeowners often opt for aerobic treatment units and nitrogen-reducing septic systems to protect local waterways. Compact, shallow-depth tanks are favored due to the high water table and smaller lot sizes. Dual-compartment concrete tanks are common for durability, and advanced septic monitoring systems are increasingly popular, especially for homes near the Loxahatchee River or those with outdoor living spaces.

Helpful?

In Jupiter, frequent sewage backups, strong odors, or soggy areas near the drain field can signal the need for a septic system replacement. Cracked tanks, recurring pump failures, or visible tank corrosion are also red flags. If your system is over 20 years old or doesn’t meet current environmental standards—especially after flooding or hurricane events—schedule a professional septic inspection to assess if an upgrade is needed.

Helpful?

After septic service in Jupiter, have your system professionally started and inspected to confirm proper operation. Keep all permits, warranties, and service records in one place for easy reference. Arrange for annual septic inspections, especially if you have an advanced system, and monitor your drain field after heavy rains. Maintain grass—not trees—over the drain field to prevent root intrusion, and keep your contractor’s contact information handy.

Helpful?

In Jupiter, you can support your septic system by limiting water use, using septic-safe products, and avoiding flushing wipes or grease. If you notice slow drains or mild odors, check for standing water near the drain field and reduce household water flow. If these issues persist or you see sewage backups, stop troubleshooting and contact a local septic inspection professional immediately.
