Small jobs welcome

"Mateo was outstanding from start to finish. He was prompt, courteous, and helpful. We needed our overgrown front and side yard landscaped, and Mateo explained his plan, even providing a photoshopped image of the final results. The outcome exceeded our expectations at a reasonable price. He also trimmed palm trees, mulched, and added sod. I highly recommend Mateo for experienced, honest, and prompt landscaping services."

"I've used at least 5 other lawn services and found Atilus to be the best. They've even repaired some broken sprinkler heads they located. They are a little more expensive than others I've used but as the old saying goes, "You get what you pay for". I don't mind paying more if the service I receive is worth it."

"After re-sodding my backyard, Eleazar and Natural Landscaping and Repair came in and built a paver patio and flagstone/stone pathway. They did an exceptional job on both. Eleazar was very helpful in picking out stones and pavers and was very conscious of my wants. He really went beyond helping me choose the right materials. My compliments to Eleazar and Natural Landscapeing."

"Excellent. Four men brought a section of my yard from grass to brick paver patio with curves and cuts in less than 4 hrs. Customer service with Jeanette was a pleasure."

"Excellent response and follow through. Attentive group and determined to get job done as to my wishes. Time and cost was underestimated due to yard needing more than originally thought. Drainage pipe, filling, grading, sloping and sod added. Great job and Bruce is a delight to work with. He responds quickly to calls, mail, etc, which I find rare these days! Highly recommend. Landscaping questions, answered by experts

A full backyard renovation can cost between $15,000 and $50,000, depending on the scope of the project. Excavation, materials, and labor costs all contribute to the final cost of updating your outdoor spaces, and expensive features like a pool, a fence, or hardscaping carry a high price tag.

Yes, you can hydroseed with a garden hose, but you’ll need a tank or other large vessel for mixing the slurry, then a pump to send the slurry through the hose for spraying. Making your own hydroseeding unit can work, but it’s not usually worth the effort and supplies unless you already have them.

Yes, you can absolutely transplant bushes instead of removing them completely. The success depends on the size of the bushes, their age, and the transplanting season. Ideally, transplant during the dormant season (late fall or winter). Dig out the entire root system in one piece, fill the new hole with fresh soil and mulch, and water thoroughly after planting.

Environmental considerations include native plant selection, wildlife habitation, erosion prevention measures, and managing water runoff patterns to protect the lakefront ecosystem.

It is possible to DIY complete hardscaping projects, but in most cases, hiring a professional is best to get the job done correctly. Hardscaping—including installing patios, decks, retaining walls, walkways, and water features—is challenging and time-consuming, so the money you spend on a professional is typically worth it. Not only will the quality be better, but you could avoid problems that come along with a lack of hardscaping experience, like drainage issues that can lead to costly foundation damage and leaks in your home.
