Small jobs welcome

"Matt came out the evening that I got his information. His team got to work the next day and did an excellent job cleaning up the grass and some areca palms. They removed black mulch another company had started in stalling when I requested brown mulch. Today they finished laying fresh mulch and removing all the debris. Matt came by to check the work and collect payment for the completed work. I will be using this company for lawn maintenance and future gardening needs."

Lawn Care questions, answered by experts

The time you should wait before walking on new grass depends on whether you used seed or sod. If you laid new grass seed, it's best to wait about eight weeks before stepping on it, as new grass is fragile. For sod, it typically establishes itself in the ground in about two weeks. For heavy traffic, like driving a car across a new grass driveway, you might need to wait an entire season.

They handle labor-intensive tasks efficiently, equipping your lawn for seasonal changes without physically demanding work on your part.

There are plenty of products to help green up your grass. Try an iron supplement spray or fertilizer that is rich in nitrogen. You can also apply a thin layer of compost on top of your lawn at the beginning of spring to give the grass a nutrition boost, which helps it achieve that bright color you are looking for.

Depending on your lawn mower type, you can mow anywhere from 2.5 to 13 miles per hour (mph). A simple push lawn mower will take the longest to mow at 2.5 mph, which is just under the average walking pace. Riding mowers can go significantly faster. Rear engines come in at around 5 mph, tractors come in at just shy of 8 mph, and zero-turn mowers come in at the fastest speed of 13 mph.

Yes, sulfur helps grass grow greener and healthier. As a secondary nutrient, it creates a rich growing environment by helping to reduce the soil's pH level. This allows the grass roots to better absorb primary nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. The result is denser, lusher, and stronger grass with a vibrant green appearance. While not necessary for every lawn, sulfur is a beneficial soil amendment that can make a significant difference in the health and look of your lawn.
