"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’m so happy with the work Landscape Designs By Ronnie, Inc did! They were friendly, reliable, and really paid attention to the details. My Clusia hedge has never looked better, and it shows the pride in what Ronnie and his crew do. I’ll definitely be using them again and would recommend them to anyone looking for a great landscaping company, without reservation."

Small jobs welcome

"The owner of D. R.’S Lawn Service came out and gave me the most reasonable estimate. He explained everything that he was going to do to my lawn. He couldn’t come out until 5/18/2021 which was fine with me. He took out all the dead grass and replaced it with new sod. They bagged all the old grass and then showed me the end product which was perfect. He told me if I had any problem call and he would take care of it. That is a 10 star review in my book. Jim Sharp"

"Paul was very responsive once I put in my request to Angi’s List. I received a text within a half hour and he was able to help me with my entire yard the very same day. He is very hardworking and reasonably priced. I highly recommend his services!"

Landscaping questions, answered by experts

It’s usually best to buy plants from a local greenhouse or nursery yourself, but landscapers are also a reliable option. First, you can choose exactly what plants you want based on their appearance rather than relying on your landscaper to choose. Additionally, while it’s more time-consuming to go buy the plants yourself, you’ll often save money because landscapers charge for delivery and may upcharge the plants. You can also speak to a professional at a nursery to ensure you understand how to care for your plants and get the most long-term value.

How much 4 yards of dirt will cover depends on how deep you want the soil to be. In general, a yard of dirt will cover 324 square feet for a 1-inch depth or 100 square feet for a 3-inch depth. Therefore, you can expect 4 yards to cover between 400 and 1,296 square feet if you keep your soil depth between 1 and 3 inches.

If you’re hiring a landscaper to plant the garden of your dreams, you do not need to provide them with plants that you bought yourself from a nursery. While you certainly can provide your landscaper with plants, keep in mind that some nurseries provide discounts to landscaping companies, therefore potentially lowering your materials cost. Beyond the cost of the plants themselves, you need to have additional materials like topsoil and mulch for the project. Most likely, your landscaper can get a discount on these materials as well, so it’s worth speaking with them before making any large purchases.

Yes, many providers offer organic or eco-friendly treatments. Confirm availability with your contractor.

The soil around your foundation should slope down and away from your home, not toward it. If the grading drops the farther you are from your home, you can enhance the slope by removing more soil. Mark off a few feet from your house and dig up some of this soil. Regrading around your fountain should encourage water to flow away from your home and not collect or “pond.”
