The owner Dominique is a Master Contractor and is able to schedule inspections for a specific time, the work started at 7 AM, and they removed our old tank and drain field, installed a new tank and drain field, and had it inspected by 2 PM the same day. They covered the field and cleaned up by 4 PM. Most septic companies will leave your field and tank uncovered for days or weeks waiting for inspection. The price came in right at the estimate and was very reasonable. Absolutely great work."

"Pete came to my house on several occasions prior to construction to go over all the details.
The job started on time and demolition went quickly.  The crew helped move some of our large furniture into the storage unit in the drive way.  Day one the kitchen was completely gone.  They were careful with all the removal of the cabinets and countertop so that they could be reused.  Five Star called Habitat for Humanity and They came the same day and took everything.  By day two the floors were being removed and the popcorn ceiling was coming down. The soffit in the kitchen was removed.  The electrician installed the new electrical boxes for the pendant lights and the recessed lighting.  Day 3 the wallpaper was removed in the kitchen and the new rectified porcelain tile was being installed.  The ceiling was primed and painted.  Over the next few days the flooring continued to be installed.   The wall for the counter top was rebuilt.  Once the flooring was completed in the kitchen area the cabinets were installed.  Within the next few days the floors were completed and trim work done in all areas.  Another company came in to make a template for the granite countertops.  About a week later the other company came to install the granite countertops.  Once that was completed Five Star returned to install the backsplash and molding trim under the countertop.
     The Five Star crew was amazing. They were polite, professional and knowledgeable.  Because of  Pete's expertise he was able to offer me a solution to all my kitchen concerns.  For instance, the garbage disposal switch that was out of my reach, he moved to the countertop.  I can't believe how convenient that is.  In addition, his suggestion for recessed lighting has completely brightened up my kitchen.  He also expanded the opening into the dining room so that my refrigerator door can now open up all the way.  There were so many little details throughout the renovation that Pete had a suggestion or solution for when I would not have known what to do.    Even, his suggestion for the placement of the cabinet hardware was perfect.  I now have a beautiful and functional kitchen.  The wood looking porcelain tile flooring throughout the house is amazing.
   
I appreciate all the hard work the whole crew put into this job and can't wait to do the bathrooms next.

"Chris, from Progressive, came out last week to review the issues I was having with low water pressure in all zones (I have 5 in total).  Chris determined that it was probably due to clogged well.     Chris was the first irrigation pro to suggest that the cause was due to a dirty well and not due to some other reason, that in the past other irrigation pros had suggested and failed to fix my low pressure problem.      Chris sent me a quote, and the work was scheduled to be done on Monday, May 9.    Chris' brother, Tom, came out on 5/9 and began the process to clean the well, which was quite dirty.    The chemicals used to clean the well need to sit for a couple of hours so Tom left and came back at around 6pm, with his worker, Scott and stayed until 8pm.    The well was running clean but when he started up the system, he found that the control valve head filters (5) were very dirty and suggested that new control valve filters be installed because there was no way to clean the existing filter.    A new filter was $15 each, however,  I went for a complete new control valve (5 total)  because it was a little more but made more sense in the long run.    Since Tom did not have the parts he needed on his truck, he had to come back today (5/10) to complete the job.    Tom re-set my irrigation system and all zones are working better than I have ever seen them function since I've owned my home.    Tom and Scott were extremely polite, took time to explain everything they were doing, and worked clean!     If you want the best in irrigation and well repair, look no further and call Progressive Pump and Irrigation.   I'm extremely happy that I found such a knowledgeable irrigation pro and recommend them highly!!!
