Outstanding to work with this company. Pete came out, gave an estimate and that is exactly what was charged. No upsell to raise price. Best of all, we were crunched for time in the purchase of our house and asked if they had any openings or change in their schedule could they fit us in. They did! Excellent job, our house looks great, they cleaned up afterwards. Highly recommend.

I am very impressed with Pete and his crew; the name says it all! He shows up on time, gives a fair estimate and is both clean and efficient in completing the work. I have used him multiple times on multiple jobsites. I have done entire houses or just particular rooms. He is able to make the look seamless throughout. My background is in architecture, and I am very particular in the finished product. I have very high standards and this company meets them. His lines are clean, and the work is impeccable. His crew is respectful and always clean up after themselves. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to get rid of their popcorn ceilings!

The work was professional and the results were great. The eye appeal of the work makes our home very presentable for selling. All the work was performed within the time frame we needed it to be done in. Correspondence with Donna in the main office assured that we always got our construction needs done in a timely manner. Pete was great inspecting the work to insure we were satisfied with the job. Javier was spectacular with the breezeway re-construction and roofing. All other workers performed their jobs to our satisfaction. We highly recommend this company as their pricing is fair and the workmanship is excellent.

Pete showed up on time to estimate the project. His team showed up on time to perform the work. They identified additional issues with the external walkway ramp rail. The communicated the additional expense to resolve the issues. The completed the project to satisfaction.

We were in a time crunch to get our 4 bedroom popcorn ceiling removed and knock down texture put on. Also needed all the bedrooms carpets removed. We contacted Five Star Remodeling and they promptly respond to us and gave us an estimate. They were able to get the job done with very short notice and we truly appreciate it. Job was done in the time that was estimated and everything looks great! We will definitely use them again.

Pete and his team were great!!! They saved me from a "Renno gone bad." Pete could have easily declined the job, but he could tell I needed help and fast. They tackled the job professionally and were patient with my indecision issues. I would definitely hire them again, and if you are lucky enough to get on their schedule, don't delay!!! Pete and the team at Five Star Remodeling did an outstanding job on our recent remodel. Our remodel included flooring, interior painting, drywall work, and renovated bathrooms. We were very pleased with our project and the way everything turned out. Pete brought in all the contractors to address the various projects we had going on and it was a very smooth process. Pete was great at communicating how things were going throughout the process and if an issue popped up, he called immediately and had a solution for how to move forward.

I didn't have any expectations but I'd say it went very well. These projects were all very different but handled all at once and that was nice. The workmanship was top notch which is a great comfort. I even needed quite a bit of help on how to achieve what I was imagining and Pete was very helpful in guiding me how to get the best results. They took great care in protecting the rest of the house from the demolition of the stone fireplace. Furniture was covered in plastic as well as plastic hung from ceiling to floor to protect the house from the huge amounts of dusty white powder that seems to go everywhere. Luckily, this was minimized.

Pete came out within one day of my contacting him. My townhouse if fairly small but he said it would take 2 to 3 days, due to the stairwell, and because the dark color to be covered would require 2 coats. He was pleasant and knowledgeable. Even though this was a relatively small job for Five Star, I was able to arrange for his team to do the work the one week I had off this Spring. His team of John and Jack the first day were very nice, polite, and careful. They suggested that the extensive crown moulding be caulked first, which I agreed. John was highly skilled, and while efficient, took extra time to be sure everything was done properly and that I was satisfied. The final touches did require another couple of hours on the 3rd day, and overall took less time than I had expected. John obviously takes pride in his work, and I already have a couple of more items that I would like to have him repair for me.
Overall, the Five Star team, including the office contact Donna, made me feel that my small project was every bit as important as their large projects. I am very satisfied and highly recommend them.

Five Star Remodeling was amazing! I was selling my townhouse and had previous damage. I had found water damage in my master closet after returning from a week long vacation. The water stains were from either a roof leak or some pressure washing. A plumber came out and had to cut a hole in the ceiling to investigate the leak. It was repaired, no problems.
I hadn't gotten around to replacing the drywall for several months. I wanted to see if it continued to leak without having to cut another hole. No leak, no problems.
I had scheduled with another well rated Handyman company to come out and replace the dryall professionally. I need it to look good and later that same day people would be looking at my house to possible buy it. I had scheduled the handyman 2 weeks in advance. Forty five minutes prior to the appointment they called me and said there was a mistake and that they could not fix my drywall, there had been a miscommunication between the worker and boss. I was told that the boss would call me to get it rescheduled but I never received a return phone call.
I called Five Star Remodeling based on their Angie's List reviews. I immediately got an answer and explained my situation to them. I had them in my house within an hour of my first call! I was provided with a quote and with in hour of the quote I had a crew in my house repairing the damage! It was amazingly quick and saved my tail!
The crew put down paper from the front door all through my house. In the closet they hung plastic so I didn't have to move a single item during repair! The work crew was polite and worked quickly. When they were done, they cleaned up EVERYTHING and swept up from the back of my house to the front door. The repair looked as if the entire area was brand new.
The next day I saw that some of the staining had leaked through the paint. I called Five Star and they sent out one of the same crew to repaint the area with an oil based paint for no charge
I can not believe how quick Five Star responded to phone calls, responded to my house. They had me completely over a barrel and I don't feel they took advantage of me at all on the price.
I was showing my house hours after the repairs and no one commented on the area. It looked brand new! I was under a huge time crunch and Five Star Remodeling was outstanding. From an initial phone call, to in my home with repairs started in about an hour and 45 minutes. I could not be happier with their work.

The project went very well. He had a crew of 3-4 people out at our house for the first week. They were able to get a lot done in a short time frame. The project lingered a little longer than expected but we contributed to that since we added projects throughout the process.

From start to finish the integrity and professionalism of this company stands above the rest. They start on time, they work throughout the day, they know exactly what they are doing. There are no "problems" with Five Star Remodeling, only small "challenges" that come with any remodel, and they can meet everyone of them with no delay. For example, when they pulled out my sink there was a plumbing problem, and without delay a plumber was there to fix it. Remodeling in your home causes a low level of stress, because your home is torn apart, but that is the that is the only stress that you will have with Five Star. They have the utmost respect for your home, and treat it like they would their own home. At the end of the day they clean up all debris, not one drop of anything left in your home. If you work outside the home, you can leave with no problem, and come home to see the amazing progress they have made on your project.You can always tell when contractors love what they do, their work tells it all.

I knew I wanted Five Star to perform the rebuild because I had used them 3 years ago to remodel a large part of my condo which was a great experience. Pete and his crew are courteous, efficient, always leave the job site better and cleaner than they found it, are very reasonably priced, do a quality job, and do it right. Pete runs a fine company and has gained my respect from the way he conducts his business, is very respectful and efficient, and has the competency to do everything needed to restore a home - that results in a very happy and satisfied client. I will be using Five Star again in the near future for the last phase of my remodel project. I also want to comment on Pete's Account Manager Donna - very pleasant to work with, very timely in communicating, estimate / scheduling, etc.

Right from the start they were great! They came out to measure and emailed me the next morning with the estimate. Then scheduled the project for the following week. They always get back to you quickly and are happy to answer any questions. They were always on time and the quality of work is impeccable. Everything went great! Pete and his crew were prompt, worked diligently, provided great communication, and were always willing to field questions and/or concerns. We would definitely use Five Star again, and in fact, are already scheduling some more work we need done. My wife and I can't say enough nice things about Five Star, our house looks so much better after all the work they've done! They were knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and offered great recommendations. We were really pleased with the final product... they delivered exactly what we wanted at a fair price.
