"Fair until the end, then badly. He did a good job on those interior things he did, but did not finish the list. The tile repair was not done. Exterior painting was fine. He communicated reasonably, and worked when he said he would, except when it rained, and then we had to deduct that he wasn't coming. We had two roof leaks. He told me the whole roof should be replaced. I told him the roof was 11 years old, so I wanted to know why he thought it should be replaced, so he said he could coat the shingles in the areas of the leaks with either of a couple of products (not specified). So I asked what the coating products would be (I am a Class A builder in Virginia. I am almost 70 and have been in construction a long time.) His response was that he has been doing this for 30 years. I replied that I have been doing it much longer than that, and I still wanted to know the details of what he proposed doing before we agreed to it. He then replied that he could not do my roof work. I would have to find someone else. After that he never responded to any of my texts. He was adequate, but I would not use him again."
