"We had old water damage in our exterior facing storage closet door and Shane was able to repair the door and the area within hours. He was very helpful in giving us advice as new homeowners with some things as well! We’d definitely hire him again for any other repair needs."

"The service man Sead did a wonderful job completing multiple handymen tasks in my home including installing a fancy chandelier, assembling a kitchen barstool, hanging up a large wall clock into concrete wall, some interior painting, and some small odd jobs. He shows up on time, very reliable and gets the job done! ✔️ 😃"

Small jobs welcome

"I couldn?t be happier with the job they did! From the moment they arrived, they where professional, punctual, and clearly knew exactly what they where doing. They took their time to explain the process and made sure every detail was handled with care. The work was done meticulously, and the work looks absolutely stunning now! Smooth, clean, and brought back to life like new. What impressed me most was the pride they take in their work. It?s rare to find someone this skilled who also treats your home with respect and leaves everything spotless. If you?re looking for someone who will go above and beyond to deliver quality craftsmanship, this is your guy. Highly recommend!"

Small jobs welcome

"My husband and I just bought a condo and needed to have a substantial amount of work done before we moved in. We had 2.5 weeks to get it done before our move day. We hired Marcio to knock down a wall, remove a wall sized mirror, enlarge the doorway to the walk-in closet, remove the popcorn ceiling and paint the ceiling, install new closet doors on 3 closets, install 3 ceiling fans, 2 vanity lights, a kitchen faucet, new crown molding and baseboards throughout and paint the 1225 soft condo. As with any construction project, unexpected issues arose like the kitchen sink backing up from the condo upstairs and flooding the kitchen. He handled everything with grace. He went out of his way to help with everything that came up and as promised, the job was complete by the time we moved in. He did have to come back to install the closet doors and finish up a couple odds and ends. He was incredibly dependable. I will definitely be calling him again to remodel our bathrooms."

Treehouse Builders questions, answered by experts

Yes, with proper heating or cooling systems and energy-efficient glazing.

The only real drawback to green building is that it’s more expensive up front, with per-square-foot prices sitting 33% higher than what you’d pay to build a traditional home. The higher cost is due to more expensive building materials and more labor to ensure every aspect of the home is as efficient as possible. However, green buildings often save money in the long run, so this is just a temporary downside.

Don’t forget to factor in the climate where you live during the planning stage. If your area is prone to bitter cold and heavy snow, you might want to invest in stronger greenhouse materials like a concrete slab, steel frame, and glass walls or plan to take your greenhouse down for the winter.

The choice is really yours. Greenhouses available in kits can make the job go quicker. You can find greenhouse kits to match your style and size needs. If you enjoy designing and planning, you can build your own from materials of your choosing. Just be sure to do your research beforehand so everything ends up structurally sound.

The quickest way you can protect plants and trees from frost is to cover them with garden blankets or frost cloths. Also, bringing potted plants or trees indoors is much simpler than trying to cover and protect them outdoors. Remember to anchor blankets with something such as sandbags, fabric pins, or rocks if the forecast calls for strong winds to keep them from blowing away and exposing your trees and plants.
