"I have lived in Florida for 35 years and my original popcorn ceiling in the garage was coming apart due to the heat. I contacted Guzman Drywall and in 15 minutes got a call from Mr Guzman who came over to my home took measurements and came out after the current job he was on. They worked 8 hours straight and the ceiling looked like when I first moved into my hom minus the popcorn look. Great Company Reasonable Pricing and First Class Results. Call him yourself you will appreciate the service and results."

Small jobs welcome

"The only criticism is that they wore their shoes in the house without booties and tracked some dirt and mud in on our carpet. Also, they left dirt in the bathtub they had stepped into to clean some windows. I pointed this out to the â bossâ and he wiped the tub out, but we had to vacuum our carpet."

Popcorn Ceilings questions, answered by experts

Yes, you just may need to add an extra coat or two of primer to already painted ceilings. This will help mask the old paint and give you a fresh canvas on which to add your new texture.

After removing any type of skylight, you have a few options for the ceiling. You can patch and repair the ceiling to match the surrounding area, ensuring a smooth and seamless finish. Alternatively, you can install a light fixture or a ceiling fan in place of the skylight to maintain functionality and enhance the room's lighting and ventilation. Ultimately, the choice depends on your preferences and the specific requirements of the space. No matter what you choose, you’ll probably want to call in a pro to help.

Popcorn ceilings can be relatively easy to keep clean with regular maintenance. Avoid exposing it to smoke if possible—popcorn ceilings tend to collect stains from smoke, including those from cigarettes or cooking. With proper care, you can clean your popcorn ceiling anywhere from every six months to a year—or as needed.

How long it takes to repair a ceiling depends on the extent of the damage. Patching a small hole might only take a few minutes, while repairing a water-damaged section of the ceiling could take hours. If there are structural issues, expect your ceiling repair to take several days or longer.

Soundproofing enhances privacy, reduces ambient and external noise for improved concentration, and creates a more comfortable living environment, especially in noisy neighborhoods or busy households. Additionally, it can improve the audio quality in spaces like home theaters.
