"I decided it was time to re-do my old, outdated, ugly master bathroom. I initially thought I would try to save money and hire a DIY/one-man fixer upper, but soon realized that was taking up too much of my time and I could never find anyone dependable. I did some research and found S&W Kitchens (Longwood showroom). I liked that they were family owned and had been around for a long time. My first encounter was with Amy who would be my design lead. Our first meeting was to talk about the whole process of what and how working with S&W Kitchens would entail. She was very thorough and made things very easy to understand. Once we got through that stage, meetings were set up discuss my vision of what the bathroom would look like. I did have several photos and a concept of what I was wanting to do which did help in that process, as well as helpful suggestions from Amy. Once everything was decided, Amy did a fantastic job in every aspect of putting together the materials that were needed to begin the job and following through to completion. My next point of contact was with Adam who was the construction supervisor. He arranged and scheduled the various trade subcontractors and always kept in touch with me on who would be showing up and when. If I had any issues during the renovation Adam was there to answer any questions, fix any problems, and make sure I was pleased with how things were going. "I called Broome Property Enterprises within days after purchasing a home in the area. I have been in here less than two months in my kitchen and laundry room are completely remodeled. Within days, I got an excellent quote and the job was started promptly after I picked my cabinets. The price included everything but appliances and backsplash materials. The cabinets are top-notch, full wood product, no particleboard. And quartz countertops were included in my estimate. The demolition was knocked out quickly and by day three they started with the cabinet install. They cleaned the floors after every day‘s work, not only sweeping, but also Swiffered the floors. All of the workers were friendly and polite. It is now just 13 work days and the entire kitchen & laundry are finished and it is absolutely beautiful. I could not be happier and highly recommend Broome Property Enterprises."

"I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against Isack Berg who I hired through Angi for a home improvement project at my residence. The project, which began on November 13, 2024 has been plagued by numerous issues, including poor workmanship, failure to adhere to the contract, and multiple no-call, no-show instances. Despite paying $22,000 upfront and for materials, the contractor has failed to complete the work as agreed. Details of the Complaint: 1. Substandard Workmanship – Two licensed and bonded contractors have inspected the work and provided written statements detailing severe deficiencies. Additionally, I have over 200 pictures and multiple videos documenting the issues. 2. Breach of Contract – The contractor has repeatedly failed to meet agreed-upon deadlines, leaving my home in an incomplete and hazardous state, exposing it to interior damage and major inconveniences. Specific issues include: o Roof – Not completed per contract, leaving my home vulnerable to damage. o Windows Trim – The sill on the front window is rotten; I had to pay $450 out of pocket for repairs. o Mastercool Unit – The back house unit’s wires were cut to the control switch. o Lighting Issues – No lights installed in the spare bathroom or the great room. o Structural Issue – No permit was pulled for the 20-foot beam in the great room, which now requires review by a contractor and the city to ensure compliance. 3. Failure to Communicate and No-Show Instances – On multiple occasions, the contractor failed to appear as scheduled without providing notice or explanation. 4. Additional Expenses – Due to the contractor’s negligence, I have incurred additional costs, including hiring another contractor for emergency repairs and dedicating over 40 hours to cleaning and correcting some of the mistakes. Given the severity of these issues, I request that Angi take appropriate action, including investigating this contractor, removing them from the platform if warranted, and assisting me in resolving this matter. I have also contacted the contractor’s bond company and am considering legal action. I am attaching all relevant documentation, including: • Written statements from two licensed contractors • Photographic and video evidence of the subpar work • Records of payments and additional expenses incurred • A copy of the contract and related communications I appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to your response. The project began on November 12, 2024, and was initially scheduled to be completed by December 24, 2024. However, the completion date was repeatedly pushed back—to December 28, then December 31, then January 10. After January 2, I had reached my limit with the poor workmanship and lack of concern for my home’s condition. The contractor’s worker was asked to leave, and I contacted Joe. He informed me he was in California and requested time to correct the situation. He assured me he would return and restart the work, but after repeated delays and unresponsive communication, he finally scheduled a walkthrough on January 20. Despite this, he failed to respond all week and only emailed on January 26, stating he would restart the work on January 27. On January 27, the contractor showed up for only six hours before leaving, stating he would return the next day. He never came back. Three days later, on the evening of January 30, he said he would return on Friday and Saturday. At that point, I told him not to bother. He has failed to address the issues related to poor workmanship and my requests to have basic utilities functioning, such as the second bathroom lights, the great room lighting, and my laundry room setup so I can use my washer and dryer. I have not been able to do laundry in my home for over three months. Even on January 27, when he did show up, he merely skim-coated parts of the walls and ceiling. This resulted in cracks because he repeatedly applied mud over bubbled seams instead of properly fixing the issue."

"I did not get the same level of satisfaction from this contractor as the photos in these reviews reflect. This contractor performed unlicensed and unpermitted electrical and plumbing work, rerouting a drain line through a stair stringer, causing structural damage. The electrical was done using the incorrect gauge of Romex wire and the outlets were subpar per the electrician I hired to give me an estimate to repair. Electrical was run on top of studs and no kick plates where electrical was notched into the studs. All of this was covered up behind their drywall patches. I now have to have my entire kitchen rewired due to these damages at my expense. The drywall patches were made with tape and then textured over, no floating of the drywall joints and he wanted to charge me extra for that. Cabinets were assembled with gaps and crooked drawers. When called out on the unlicensed work he lawyered up. I'd think twice about using this contractor. Trying to get my money refunded."
