"I decided it was time to re-do my old, outdated, ugly master bathroom. I initially thought I would try to save money and hire a DIY/one-man fixer upper, but soon realized that was taking up too much of my time and I could never find anyone dependable. I did some research and found S&W Kitchens (Longwood showroom). I liked that they were family owned and had been around for a long time. My first encounter was with Amy who would be my design lead. Our first meeting was to talk about the whole process of what and how working with S&W Kitchens would entail. She was very thorough and made things very easy to understand. Once we got through that stage, meetings were set up discuss my vision of what the bathroom would look like. I did have several photos and a concept of what I was wanting to do which did help in that process, as well as helpful suggestions from Amy. Once everything was decided, Amy did a fantastic job in every aspect of putting together the materials that were needed to begin the job and following through to completion. My next point of contact was with Adam who was the construction supervisor. He arranged and scheduled the various trade subcontractors and always kept in touch with me on who would be showing up and when. If I had any issues during the renovation Adam was there to answer any questions, fix any problems, and make sure I was pleased with how things were going. "Started off Great! They called everyday to follow up on progress. After receiving 80% of money, Calls stopped, Actually they avoided calls for weeks not knowing what was going on. Lot's of promises and not finished 4 months later. We own a Small 670 sq ft home. They promised it would be complete in 3 -4 weeks. They threw away household items, and have left 22+ items unfinished. 4 months later still not finished. Would never recommend."

Once again, we got superior workmanship, quality materials and great communication at a fair price. We were away for the summer, but we knew from our first experience we could invite Lisa, Mark and their crew into our home with confidence. Smith uses only its own crew, no subs, and has a great network of suppliers for cabinets, tile, countertops, fixtures, shower enclosures and whatever else you need. Lisa coordinates and schedules them all. Once work began, Lisa was in steady communication via text, email or phone. She sent photos almost every day. If she had a question, she consulted us before proceeding. If we had questions, she answered them promptly. The job was done in less than a month. The results were beautiful. This small company is in high demand with good reason."

Steven remodeled our master bathroom, took out the old floor, replaced with new floor tiles and replaced the baseboards. His crew is excellent and their work ethic is unquestioned, they work well together and a big plus is they work in a manner that limits the dust and dirt from spreading all over the house. "We were very pleased with the services provided by Gilbert Design Build. We wanted to renovate the kitchen and to place an accent wall with electric fireplace and TV in the living room. The project begins with meeting the president and the designer to discuss ideas and samples see if we're all a good fit. The designer and president then visit the house to see the exact spaces to be built or renovated. The project manager then completes measurements and designer orders materials. When all materials are on hand the site manager schedules the professionals in tile, plumbing, electrical, and framing to their dates Each was pleasant, worked with cleanliness, and delivered a great product. Only two glitches occurred in the process: 1. The distance between the TV and the fireplace heater was not sufficient. This took more tiling but was corrected. 2. The pots and pans rack was very noisy. This was corrected with drawers. Overall a very professional job by Gilbert Design and Build."
