"Excellent job installing our 45 feet vinyl fencing with a 4 ft man gate and a 12 foot drive gate with a beautifully welded metal frame. The owner and his wife were wonderful to work with. The crew arrived promptly and did great work."

"H&Y called to set up an estimate. Their estimate was extremely competitive. After estimate, we decided to upgrade to white PVC fence. They showed up on time and did an excellent job. The cost was the exact cost of the estimate. Everyone was was very nice and very professional."

"10/10 Highly recommend. Englewood Fence did a fantastic job installing my gate. The owner, Robert, brought great ideas to the project and executed them beautifully. His crew was professional, respectful, and clearly takes pride in their work. No shortcuts were taken. What really stood out was that the owner was personally on-site to ensure everything was done perfectly. That level of involvement and attention to detail is hard to find. I will absolutely be using Englewood Fence again for future projects!"

"The entire process from initial contact to final payment went exceptionally well. I was in the market for only a vinyl fence and Brian's Fence Co delivers vinyl fences exclusively. I was interested in a high quality product for a reasonable price. I intend to live in this house for a long time and didn't want to incur a fence repair project several years in the future. Brian was very responsive to my request for an estimate. Brian differentiated his product from other estimates I received by explaining the higher quality features of his product over other market products. Brian's product was more expensive by $200 than the other bids I received, but the quality more than outweighed the small cost differential. Brian started on time, finished on time and cost. Brian coordinated with my landscape architect and other utility providers to avoid in--ground systems. The installation went very smoothly over a two day period. Throughout the process, Brian was friendly, professional and responsive to my specifications. Brian exceeded my expectations.

"Chris is the Tampa area  owner of the Baby Guard Fencing Franchise. His professional demeanor, responsiveness and promptness  made working with him a pleasure. The price of the product, including the install was very competitive. I had received 2 other telephone bids from  other companies and both were approx 30% higher then Chris and Baby Guard. Unlike the other companies I contacted, Chris insisted that he come to my home and check things out prior to committing to the job at the telephone price quoted. (I had already taken measurements).. I am glad he did.
I was already convinced of the layout and materials I wanted. Once  Chris arrived, however,  he made layout recommendations which ultimately saved me money. He also showed  me various material options which were of better quality and longer warranty periods (5 years vs. 1 yr). Unless I was able to see and feel the differences between the various materials, I could not have made the choice I did by simply viewing a photo on the internet. Seeing is believing!  Ultimately, the fencing product I choose was a much better functional match for my particular application. Yes, it was more expensive, by about only 40.00. But as stated above, longer warranty and a better fit for my application.
I highly recommend working with Chris Fricke and the Baby Guard product seems to be of very good quality.  I also strongly encourage allowing Chris to examine your job site and make recommendations first.

Fencing questions, answered by experts

Yes, installing wrought iron fencing will usually require a building permit, as do all types of fencing. Building permits for wrought iron fencing typically cost between $150 and $500, and the price will vary based on where you live and how much your local building department charges. You may also need to pay for a property survey if you’re installing wrought iron fencing on your property line. This type of survey can cost around $500, but it prevents issues with building on neighboring properties, which can be much more expensive in the long run.

If possible, it is beneficial to paint both sides of your fence to protect the fence more completely from the elements. Painting both sides of your fence will create a more consistent appearance as well. However, the time and cost involved in painting both sides of the fence may cause people to paint only the side they see.

A stockade fence is a common type of privacy fence. These fences consist primarily of side-by-side boards without any gaps, thus eliminating the possibility of anyone peeking into your property. Stockade-style fences also typically included pointed pickets on top for even more security. Other than these traits, stockade fences come in a wide variety of styles.

You can use soil and gravel instead of concrete when setting fence posts. However, concrete is more durable and longer lasting, so it's worth considering if you want your fence to withstand the test of time. You should especially consider concrete if you live in a region that experiences severe weather, which can damage your fence.

You'll pay less on average for the cost of a wooden fence compared to aluminum. However, the price highly depends on the type of wood, the fence design, and extra additions like gates and coats of paint. For example, you may pay less to install an aluminum fence since the panels anchor in the ground, whereas wood fences often take longer to construct, especially picket fences.
