Ron L Aluminum

We spoke with 4 different vendors to get a extended lanai and birdcage. Ron L Aluminum was by far the most professional and responsive. From having my calls answered by friendly staff (as opposed to a machine or not at all) to the quick and beautiful completion of the project - the entire experience exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them!

This is by far the best experience I have had with ANY contractor to date in Florida. They arrived when they were scheduled from their initial visit to give us an estimate throughout the entirety of our project. Nattie and Ron were both kind and informative, as well as easy to reach. The crew was amazing and so was the craftsmanship. Our pool enclosure is unlike any other around. It’s beautiful and I am grateful to have our lanai space back.

Ron L constructed a 8 by 24 solid flat roof addition to out porch. Netti was a gem to work with prior to construction. The crew built it in about 4 hours and their workmanship and attention to detail was exceptional quality. Every one of the 5 crew members knew exactly what to do and in what sequence. Tying a new fiat roof into an existing sloped roof is no easy task and the work that goes into making it a watertight connection is extraordinary, but they do it. The permitting took about a month which they prepared us for. The crew worked in the 97 degree heat taking down our old cage and putting up a new one in 3.5 days. It is a 2 story cage. They were meticulous and the workmanship appears excellent. We are very please with the appearance and sturdiness of the enclosure.

We're really happy with the quality of our screened enclosure installed by Ron L. Aluminum.  It's been up for a couple of years and so far everything still looks great.  It took about a week or week and a half once the process started to get the whole thing done.  The concrete pad had to cure before starting the enclosure.  They kept the mess to a minimum and cleaned up very well after the job was completed.  I would recommend them if you're looking for a similar structure.

Their service was good.  Two individuals showed up to complete the work.  The work was completed in a timely manner.  I would recommend them.

I had other estimates and this one was the highest but when comparing the companies and how they presented themselves. I paid the higher price expecting a higher quality job. I got exactly what I paid for. The owner and crew came on time and worked as team. I spent a lot of time outside watching as I had another company at my last house do some horrible aluminum work as I was not able to be present for that one. I also have done construction work professionally in the past and like to watch new methods such as this aluminum construction methods. This company also had a special rounded edge on the vertical posts that I wanted on the inside of the structure. I gave them a small deposit to order the aluminum and secure the job. They did not speak of any additional money until the job was complete and the entire area was cleaned up. They paid attention to detail as well on all the cuts and seams. The screen work was perfect. I was completely 100 percent satisfied and will call them back for screen or screw replacement in huge future or if I decide to enclose this structure.

We saw them at the home show at the fair grounds. Signed contract Oct 24, 2012.  After constant calls they finally arrived Dec 2, 2012 to start work. 
Once they started it went up fast and workers were professional except leaving their lunch trash in the yard which did not bother me. What bothered me was the cement cracked the entire length of the porch.  Even after we sealed it.
I have called and called and they hem and haw around it and never even admit they did not have a smooth foundation before laying the concrete. Tried to tell me it was Fla climate that caused it to crack.  NO  It cracked within a week of drying.
They have refused to come fix it.
But that is not all The roof they installed leaks like crazy the entire length of the porch. It started in two places and now it is the entire thing. They either did not properly caulk it or used inferior products that did not hold the seal.  
Now to show you how efficient they are they called me in July of 2013. This month and wanted to know if I still had the building permit because apparently it has never been inspected. I never saw a building permit. They wanted me to provide one so they could get it inspected.
They came out and hung it on my electric meter at the front corner of the house so they could avoid seeing me to ask them about the repairs they have not done.
I would love to know if they passed inspection because if I had seen the inspector when they came I would of told them real quick about what to look for and hoped they did not pass.
4000.00 is not chumb change to throw away on work like this.  The leaking water constantly running across the crack is going to do nothing but go inside the crack and cause erosion under the porch and cause us to have further cracking.
I see no possible excuse for failing to repair faulty work or even attempting to.

They removed the old aluminum lania and installed new lania with insulated roof panels. They recommened tying into roof which i would recommend , because it made for a nicer look and added an additional 9 inches in ceiling height. Great job.

We were extremely happy with both the professinalism of the installers, one of whom is Ron himself, and the quality of the work.  We were having our pool resurfaced and also having the pool deck covered with acrylic.  Ron and his crew came to remove the old structure on January 30th.  They also placed a construction fence around the pool for safety reasons.  The pool resurface had already been done, but the acrylic deck covering was not yet started.  Suffice it to say, the acrylic guy was way off in his timing estimate and Ron was very accomodating.  He started another large job when we asked for a one week delay and even after that when we needed a few more days he was very accomodating.  When he did start, the job was completed in two days as he had estimated.  The enclosure looks spectacular.  Unlike most enclosures, the studs have a rounded edge on the inside of the enclosureinstead of the usual flat piece.  This adds so much to the appearance.  We have a friend who was a builder in this area and he said he'd never seen anything like that and was very impressed with the work.  Our leak inside the super gutter is gone (the original gutter was not installed properly) and the gutter was extended to the end of the house on both sides so the downspouts no longer dump water right where the deco drain dumps it.  There are no more pools of water around the deco drain after a heavy rain.  Overall, the money was very well spent.  I would strongly recommend Ron L Aluminum if you want a job done by a local business where the owner is on the job and where honesty and pride in their work is still important to them.
