"Prompt, thorough and honest. I used them for my rental property and they worked magic on what were very dirty carpets. For another job they advised me to consider replacing carpet and gave great advice. I really appreciated their transparency. Very pleasant people."

"Tom was very professional and s great communicator. He called me right away and he was very easy to talk to and his background doing flooring plus very difficult crawl space technician work was a testament to his hard work ethic. His tools were top notch and his arrived right on time. He also is easy to text which is the method I prefer. He took off his shoes without me asking and went right to work. The carpet stretching was not an easy job and he did great work removing about 3/4" to an inch and making my carpet look closer to new. The job took about 3 hours and he didn't rush and was very pleasant to talk to. He's a drag racer on the side and I loved his enthusiasm. He is askari a patriot. That is very important to me as a 23 user combat vet. I highly recommend Tom. Couldn't be more pleased!"

Carpet Installation questions, answered by experts

Yes, you can put carpet directly on concrete. However, you need to take certain precautions to ensure the success of the carpet installation. For example, you’ll need to choose a synthetic carpet pad to provide insulation and cushioning and a vapor barrier to prevent moisture from seeping into the carpet.

Nylon carpet is widely considered one of the most durable and longest-lasting options, typically lasting 12 to 15 years. Its durability comes from its high resistance to wear, tear, stains, fading, and abrasions. It also resists liquid spills, insects, mold, and mildew, making it ideal for high-traffic areas like living rooms and hallways. For even greater longevity, frieze or Berber carpets are excellent choices that can last up to 20 to 25 years.

Beyond the material, a carpet's construction is key to its durability. Low-pile carpets with short, tight loops hold up better against wear than high-pile options. As a synthetic material, nylon is available in a vast range of colors and styles and often feels remarkably soft.

The costs range from $3 to $10 per square foot, depending on the carpet type, labor, and subfloor preparation.

Yes, you can technically make a crawl space liveable, but the only way to do so is by converting it into a basement. While some crawl spaces are big enough to walk through and store large items, they lack appropriate insulation and space to be liveable.

Several types of flooring can be installed over existing tile, provided the current tiles are in good condition. Options include vinyl, vinyl plank, laminate, engineered wood, hardwood, carpet, and cork. Among these, various types of vinyl and engineered wood are the most common choices due to their versatility. Alternatively, you can install new tiles on top of your current ones if you like tile floors but want to update the look. Before proceeding with any new flooring, it's crucial to ensure your existing tiles are not damaged; otherwise, they will need to be removed first.
