Customers say: Terrific value

"Initially we hired Laurie to do a deep cleaning of our 1200 square-foot condo. When she gave us her hourly rate, at first I thought that it was high (especially comparatively to what I was paying in my full-time home). I am so HAPPY that we decided to have Laurie come in, because she is fast and thorough and worth very every single penny. She just didn’t even stop to come up for air! We decided to continue to have her come every other week and the second time she came, she priced out the job based on that. I came home to a house that was clean, smelled clean and felt clean. She told me the two times she came that she would arrive at around 10 o’clock, and both times she came promptly at 10. I felt totally comfortable leaving her in charge while I was gone. My husband (the fastidious one) and I BOTH are thrilled to have found Laurie and look forward to continuing our relationship with her. She comes with her own supply cart, does her thing and leaves.... Sort of like Mary Poppins without the drama! I highly recommend L’Oreal cleaning without reservation."

"This navy vet comes prepared to work and does the job right. I have been using Mr Lopez since 2015 for dryer vent and dryer cleaning. Today's job was to clean and sanitize my a/c ductwork. He took the blower assembly out of the a/c unit and completely cleaned inside the unit! Who else does that? No more mold!! John D."

We will remove the vent covers if they have access build up. We take them outside to scrub mold and mildew off the covers before putting them back on.

"I had my sectional couch, ottoman, and living room area rug cleaned, and the results were excellent. The technician was on time, professional, and explained everything clearly. All the furniture looks refreshed, and the rug looks way better than before. I’m very satisfied and would definitely use them again."

Cleaning questions, answered by experts

You should consider doing a few things on your own that fall under the category of “good house cleaner etiquette” to prepare for your house cleaner. These include tidying counters, floors, and other surfaces, taking care of the dishes, moving laundry to the laundry room or a dedicated laundry basket, and putting away personal and private items. Think of your house cleaner as someone who brings your home from relatively tidy to organized and clean, and you should have no issues.

One of the best ways to prepare for a home biohazard cleanup is not to touch anything. Do not remove belongings, even if they are of value or importance, from the area as they are likely contaminated. It’s essential not to use any cleaning products of your own, as the cleaning company will be using chemicals that could interact with your products.

One thing you can do to prepare is take pictures of your space and belongings that need to be cleaned, especially if you plan on filing a claim with your insurance company. In addition, take time to make a list of items that are valuable, sentimental, or otherwise important. The cleanup company must evaluate these belongings to make sure they are safe.

Surprisingly, cleaning an air bath is almost as easy as relaxing in one. Most air baths have a self-cleaning or drying cycle to remove moisture from the inner tubing. This prevents mold and keeps the tub ready for your next soaking session. For deeper cleaning, use mild soap and a soft cloth to wipe the surfaces and periodically clean the air jets as the manufacturer recommends.

Steam mops can be a better option than traditional mops because the steam can lift stubborn dirt from floors without using chemicals, and it also kills bacteria and dust mites. However, steam mops have drawbacks: they are more expensive, require an electrical outlet, and are not suitable for all flooring types, such as laminate or hardwood, which can be damaged by the steam.

Regular mopping can also sanitize floors effectively when done with the right cleaning products and techniques, though it may require more effort. The main advantage of a traditional mop is its versatility, as it can be used on any type of flooring. Ultimately, the best choice depends on your floor type, budget, and cleaning preferences.

Typically, professional organizers do not provide cleaning services like vacuuming or dusting. Their primary role is to declutter your home by rearranging items, maximizing storage space, and helping you decide what to discard. However, some larger companies that offer professional organizing may also provide home cleaning services, and hiring a company for both can be more economical. Hiring an organizer is a helpful way to reset and tidy your house, making it easier to stay on top of cleaning in the future. You can also hire a local cleaner to come in after the organizing is complete.
