"Our experience with City Roofing was excellent from start to finish. Very professional staff and hard working roof crew. They worked with us from the selection of our roof, water resistant material, inspection process and final miami-dade approval. They answered promptly any questions we had. Excellent quality of work and we are very happy with our roof."

"I was very happy with the new barrel tile roof installed by Safeguard Roofing, and the professional way they handled the job from start to finish. Thanks in particular to John, the General Manager, Scott in Sales, Sam, Sara, Jenny and all the installers who worked on our roof. I would recommend Safeguard Roofing to anyone needing any roof work at their home or business."

"We could not be happier with our selection.  Jesus was our sales rep.  He was one of several estimates.  We felt very comfortable with his honesty and knowledge.  He mentioned many obstacles to be expected that no one else had the courage to disclose.  The entire process went very smooth.  We also did a roof and paint.  None of the other projects were as easy going as the Windows which is why I suggest and recommend this company for your window and door needs.  Here's a few points is like to touch on.

On time all the time.  If there were any delays, I was notified well in advance.
the install was very clean and neat. The installers were polite and worked very hard to make sure I was fully satisfied.
the manufacturer TM was involved at the end for minor services and that has also gone very smooth.
Pricing was very competitive. We paid a bit more but we surly received price of mind.

We're so happy with our decision and it was a pleasure to work with ASP Windows and Doors

Roofing questions, answered by experts

Yes, a tile roof will increase the value of your home more than an asphalt shingle roof. Not only do tile roofs look nicer and add more to your curb appeal, but buyers will understand that roof tiles last longer than most other materials, so they can expect minimal maintenance and a long roof lifespan after closing, which often means they’ll be willing to pay more for a home with this roof option.

Yes, gable vents can let water in. That being said, this usually only occurs during extreme conditions like heavy rainfall. You can prevent water from entering through gable vents by adding a screen that traps the water before it can enter.

No, you can’t use your home’s square footage. You have to calculate your roof’s square footage, and then you may have to convert your square footage measurement to correspond with how the roofing material is measured. For instance, some roofing is sold in “squares,” which equals the total square footage of the roof divided by 100. Shingles are sold in bundles that may not correspond to the number of squares you need. Metal roofing is sold as sheets, so determine the amount of square feet each panel will cover and then divide the total square footage by the coverage area.

Many insurance policies will not cover a roof with two layers of shingles. An additional layer of shingles increases the risk of various kinds of damage, and insurers typically won’t pay claims on a roof with an overlay. Adding a layer of shingles may even jeopardize your insurance coverage entirely, so check your policy to ensure you stay within coverage guidelines.

Flat roofs are a solid option for people who want extra outdoor space. Flat roofs are very common in other parts of the world and only recently has the U.S. started to see the benefit in the increased space. Flat roofs are also easier to maintain and pose much less of a safety risk, which allows for more DIY work for handy homeowners. Some people also build green or living roofs that grow plant life.
