A sales representative pressured me into signing a one-year contract by stating that he needed to secure one customer that day. Feeling cornered, I agreed to the contract, trusting the sales guy professionalism. However, after the first service, I decided to cancel the service. I was shocked when I was informed that the cancellation fee would be $250, despite having been told initially that the service fee was $100. The customer service agent was rude and he got furious after he heard about cancellation and determined to get 250$ from me. The entire experience has left me feeling deceived and frustrated. I would caution others about the company shady practices and be wary of high-pressure sales tactics. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend GreenPest company and suggest seeking pest control services from a more transparent and customer-friendly provider."

Some animals, such as bats or birds, will be able to get out of chimneys on their own since they can fly. Woodpeckers usually feed on homes when there is a food source present, and termites are one possible source. However, the presence of woodpeckers doesn’t necessarily mean there are termites. They may also be feeding on more harmless insects like ants or spiders. If woodpeckers seem drawn to one particular part of your home’s siding, it might be worth hiring a termite inspector to check for the presence of these pesky critters.

  • Hang wind chimes close by, which may scare birds away. 

  • Apply a bird gel repellent to the railings, which contains smells that birds generally don’t like. Or, similarly, you can apply citronella or lemon oil around the railings, since birds don’t like strong smells.
