"Besim and his brother Dem were great. I had flooring installed and my kitchen cabinets painted and they both look fantastic. Besim and Dem were very helpful and courteous and cleaned and put everything back in place when they were finished. I had a wonderful experience working with them and can highly recommend them"

"Jermaine is one of those handymen who is worth their weight in gold. I hired him and his team to perform a variety of odd jobs around my newly purchased house, and they stayed late - on a Friday afternoon no less - to successfully install appliances that Home Depot was unable to install (appliance installation was not on my original list because I didn’t think it was something Jermaine’s group did). All work Jermaine and his team did met or exceeded my expectations, and the entire time, Jermaine was focused on doing as much for me as he could. I will 100% hire Jermaine again the next time I need a handyman, and you should too."

"Last year I bought a Big Deal to take care of some drywall patch work and repairing a window.  I could not schedule an appointment with Noel, every time I communicate with him, the response is he is booked for the month.  I contacted him this year to install outdoor speakers and got the same response that he cannot make an appointment with in a month.
I am happy for him that he is busy and lot of jobs in his hand, but may not work if he wants to take a look at the job after a month after he was contacted.  Normally we call a handyman when things need to be taken care within reasonable amount of time.

Fire Pit Installation questions, answered by experts

No, a chirping smoke alarm is usually a sign of an issue with the power supply of the unit. This is easily solved by replacing the battery to stop the smoke alarm from beeping. If the chirp continues, review the owner’s manual to determine the cause. These chirps are short and not as loud as the beeping of the alarm itself. If you can’t tell the difference, it’s best to treat it like an activated alarm until you find the cause.

You should never block both the top and bottom of your chimney. Proper airflow is essential because the temperature inside the chimney will still fluctuate as your house warms and cools. Moisture can build up without ventilation, leading to dampness in your walls over time. Blocking the top prevents debris and animals from entering, but the chimney still needs air circulation to avoid condensation issues. Allowing the chimney to breathe maintains the health of your home and prevents long-term damage.

Yes, spider webs are flammable, taking them from minor household nuisance to something more dangerous. Silk boasts no built-in resistance to fire, though it takes an abundance of spider webs to actually catch fire and spread. A cobweb here and there poses no major fire safety risk, so it’s not a cause for concern.

Regular inspections, using dry wood, and installing chimney caps help maintain efficiency and safety.

Smoke detectors come in two different options: hardwired or battery-operated. While hardwired units are attached directly to the home’s electrical system, a battery-operated smoke detector only needs a simple battery for operation and can be placed virtually anywhere in your home. Some homeowners may mistakenly think their battery-operated units are hardwired in because all their units are interconnected, but many battery-operated units can operate within a smoke alarm network in your home.
