"Someone called back right away and schedule to come to our home at 10am. They were 4 hours late. Two guys, one seem to be professional and knew what he is doing. They checked 3 bathrooms and drain pipe, and suggested I replace the flappers, seal one of the toilets, and put epoxy around the possible crack in one of the drain pipes. The whole job took less than an hour and cost me 620 dollars. "While out of town, got word basement might be flooded. Called Schede to check boiler and hot water heater.. They went out the same day. Discovered sump pump wasn't working so replaced it. Cost pump and labor $800. Over the years they have responded to many problems, leaking faucets and stuck drains. Biggest project replace boiler for steam heat. Took 5 guys to wrestle boiler down a narrow basement stairway. Patient with a few family disagreements. Nothing to do with them. Installation successful. They've always been prompt courteous and non judgemental when encountering crazy working conditions. Think they are great. Boiler and hot water heater were fine. They installed both."

"The job took 1.5 days because I had moved everything to the center of the basement. They had 5+ feet of clearance around the perimeter, with plastic covering hung from floor joists. The dust still managed to cover everything behind the plastic walls. My advice: do a thorough job of sealing the space or be prepared to have a big dust cleanup. Only disappointment was that the drain at the foot of the steps to the bilco doors was positioned directly below the internal door. You cannot install a sill on top of this so when finishing we will now have a dangerous transition. This was never explained. Otherwise, a great crew."
