First I would like to say that working with [Member Name Removed] was a pleasure. However, I did tell her that we would have to wait to paint the steps based on the fact that it was pressure treated lumber and that it had to dry for approximately 3 months before we could paint them. I told her to let me know when she was ready and that we would come back to paint the steps. As she stated, she waited for over a year to get back in contact with me. And as with most contractors, this time of year is extremely busy. However, I did reply back to her and told her that I could finish he painting and could she please re-send me her address so that we could set up a time and date. After that email was sent, I heard nothing back from her. I would just like to say that "I did give her plenty of opportunity to contact me to finish the painting (over a year) and that did not happen." And at no time did I refuse to finish the job. I have to say that we really enjoyed working with [Member Name Removed] and rhonda. they communicated very well what they were looking for and I'm glad I was able to provide it for them. In response to [Member Name Removed]'s review, I must say that she and her husband were very nice to talk to and I was looking forward to working with them on their project. However, I had a family emergency and was out of the area for a few weeks. Unfortunately, I was not able to get back to them in a timely manner thus causing this bad review. I understand their situation and I would just hope that they would understand mine. I maybe could have communicated a little better with them during the time I was away but the family emergency needed my direct attention. This client seemed very happy with the work that we had conducted. He made no mentions of these items during our final walk thru. He had asked me to come back for repeat business and to conduct a few other items on their to-do list. I explained that I was extremely busy but would work with them on a date and time. Apparently, they were not happy with this and wanted me to come out to conduct the work on "their" schedule and disregard my prior commitments to other clients. Rather than working with me on a new date they decided to use this website to "bash" my work and my reputation. The saying goes that you will never please everyone all of the time. Even though they were initially pleased with the work that all changed because I was unable to meet their schedule. We always try to meet clients needs but in some cases such as this one it doesn't always work out. Thank you for taking the time and listening to both sides of the story.Service Provider Response
This job was 100% complete and this client was extremely happy with the results. The "botched" jobs were the ones I was fixing for them. They even asked that I come back to do more work for them. I received a text from them about a week ago and they stated that they were ready for us to come back to do more work and I explained that I was extremely busy and I would have to look at my schedule. I have received no calls or messages since then and then received this bad rating even though they were very satisfied with the job originally.Service Provider Response

This gentleman was way outside of my normal travel area. It would have taken me over 2 hours to drive to his location and about 15 minutes to do the work. I did receive a vague list of odd jobs that he put together and I explained that this time of year was extremely busy and that I would see if I could work out a time to conduct the work but he did not respond with dates or times. I was always professional and even though we were unable to help him with his projects I did respond to all of his emails with little to no response from him. He was anxious to get this done but was unwilling to provide me with the information I had requested.Service Provider Response
during this time of year we are extremely busy and I was in the process of getting already scheduled projects completed so that I could give them a good time frame of when we would be able to start their project. I did try calling them with no return calls. I feel. a deep sense of obligation to the clients with whome I have established start dates. Some people are very impatient and I do my best to accommodate but in cases such as this I was not able to meet their time frame due to other commitments.Service Provider Response
This was a case of just being too busy. I am not blaming Angies list but we have been "slammed" with projects and at times it is hard to keep up. I have since hired an admin assistant to keep scheduling under control and would be more than happy to conduct more work with Ms. [Member Name Removed]. My sincere apologies. I had explained to this client that I was extremely busy this time of year and it would be 6 to 8 weeks before I could get to his projects, I have spoken to him since he wrote this review and reminded him about the six to eight-week wait time and offered to move forward with the projects if he was willing to change the review on Angie's List. to date he has refused to change the review even though he admitted that he had forgotten about the long wait time. this is an extremely busy time for all contractors. this site allows people to provide comments however these comments should be taken as a single individuals opinion which in some cases aren't based on facts. I have good ratings based on my professionalism and ability to communicate please understand that unfortunately you can never make everybody happy especially when it's their fault or error.I am not a certified electrician or plumber but I can fix minor issues of each category.
