"Ted and Robert arrived, got right t to it and within a few hours we had 2 ceiling fans installed, one which had no existing light so it was a more involved project. They were professional and stuck to their original quote! To say we are impressed is an understatement. We strongly recommend using Connole Electric."

"Mr. Rodriguez showed up exactly on time both times and they worked very hard while they were here. They covered my new wood floors with tarps and protected my living space. They were courteous and kind. The crew were very nice to me and went beyond the call of duty, I felt. The finished products were done professionally and perfectly. The wall that had to be rebuilt looks like it has always been there - just now it has a big cabinet and towel racks. All three bathrooms were professionally painted with no spatter and clean lines. They all have sufficient area to hang hand towels and bath towels.I worked in the house while they were here and they were very professional. All-in-all, this was a great experience and I would highly recommend this company."

"I highly recommend this company. They were amazing and gave me a beautiful, new tiled bathroom tub, as well as a new floor, he patched holes in the wall. It seemed like basically anything I asked he knew how to do, and he did amazingly. I was quite surprised at how great this experience was 12/10"

Bathroom Fan Installation questions, answered by experts

When choosing a mounting bracket, you have the option between flush mounts and downrod mounts. Flush mounts are the better option for low ceilings as they feature a lower profile. Downrod mounts are the optimal choice for rooms with high ceilings as they offer a pole that adjusts the height of the fan.

WD-40 in its liquid or aerosol form is highly flammable. Using it around live electrical parts, such as a bath fan, can generate fire and a dangerous condition. However, if you follow proper safety procedures, including disconnecting the power to the fan before working on it, WD-40 can help remove some of the grime that builds up in your bath fan.

For a 12x12 room, a fan between 36" and 50" will work, as it falls in the range for spaces up to 144 square feet. These size fans provide adequate air circulation and ensure a comfortable environment without being overpowering. Even better, they come in a broad range of styles, offering aesthetics and functionality, making them suitable choices for maintaining an ideal room temperature and enhancing overall comfort.

When maintained and repaired when necessary, your whole-house fan can last between 10 and 20 years. Check your warranty when purchasing the unit, as it will typically only cover between 5 and 15 years. Its longevity will also depend on your local climate and how much you use the fan. Having a professional size your fan appropriately for your home size will also help ensure it doesn’t get overworked, which can limit its lifespan.

A small wobble isn’t worrisome, especially when you’re using your fan at top speed, but a significant one is. Ball joint fans, which are used on sloped ceilings, are more likely to wobble than a standard fan based on their design. But even then, you shouldn’t see significant wobbling, as this can be a sign of a bad installation.
