The gentleman who showed up was prompt and very courteous, but unfortunately that was the only positive thing I can say.He was here for 40 minutes, charged me 200 dollars and told me he couldnâ t fix it in my garage, because the oil was sludge and he may or may not be able to fix it, but he would have to take it back to the shop and it would cost me 80 dollars an hour to try to fix it.When I gave him a check for his time and asked for a receipt, he looked at me like I was asking for a kidney, and wrote something down on apiece of notebook paper, which was supposed to be a receipt.It was not an invoice with the company name or any reference to their business license.I later received an explanation from somebody in the office, that they would send me an invoice for the work done.I have never had any contractor not present a proper business receipt to me when I have given them a check, prior to this.

I have nothing but good things to say about these Guys when you call you always able to talk to someone and they keep working on the issues and don't stop till them complete the job Nate and Dave are great to work with very courteous and helpful they were unable to fix my generator but not for the lack of trying they gave it there all ,I end did you buy a new generator from them they brought it right to me on the same day and set me up review the new unit with me I am very happy with there service

Upfront and honest guys. Came on time, fixed problem and gave advice. They were in touch frequently and upfront about costs. We are in CT so there were travel costs but very worth it. They tried to batch us with others in our area to decrease mileage cost. Very worthwhile service if you have house size generator that needs work. Wish I knew they existed sooner.

Nate at Anchor Electric Motor is knowledgeable, polite, and quick to answer service calls. It is clear Anchor is in business to help people and not just make money. I had some concerns about a portable generator and Nate was able to address each concern quickly and professionally. I would definitely use Anchor again and would recommend this company to anyone.

Such a wonderful person. Came to fix my portable generator. Very pleasant and knowledgeable. Fixed my generator quickly and instructed me on ways to keep generator in best condition.

The tech was very polite and knowledgeable. When he was done he asked if I had any questions. Which I had a few. Very satisfied at this time.

I paid $250 for a service call and they did not have the parts to fix my issue.

Had 2 generators that needed repair. Dave was able to fix one at our home, and the other he took with him to the shop. He was very up-front, that he'd check it out, see what the problem was, and give us a call. When it turned out to be unrepairable, he disposed of it for us. Great customer service...have the number on the fridge for future issues!

Nat did an awesome job getting my generator up an running. He even cam to my house to get it done. I will be using them again for any time I need my generator serviced or repairs.
