"I called in the early evening and David called me back within 5 minutes. I explained the problem with my central AC not working and he was here the next morning. David diagnosed the problem and gave me a very fair price for the repair. He had the part on his truck and had the AC running again within 45 minutes of his arrival. This depends on the extent of the freezing. Some ACs only need an hour or two to thaw out, but others may need a full day to completely unfreeze. Once you turn off the system to let it unfreeze, check it periodically to make sure the drain pan doesn’t overflow. When you turn the system back on, keep an eye on it to ensure it doesn’t start freezing again.
