"Hoyer Home Solutions did an outstanding job for us. We had to replace a water heater which was encased in a makeshift closet from the previous homeowners. In order to remove it, we had to knock down two walls of this closet. Wilson, the owner of HHS, built us a new encasing featuring custom oversized French doors so that we could easily remove the water heater the next time we need a new one. This involved framing, drywall, and trim work - all of which was custom to our layout. Wilson took his time and did a thorough job. His work not only matched but was an upgrade. It made our entire basement look better. Most of all I appreciate the thought he put into making it useful for the future, so we wouldn't run into this same problem ten years from now. Highly recommend Hoyer Home Solutions for any home improvement needs."

"As an engineer, mechanic and overall handyman who has done this type of work in the past, I found it very difficult to hire someone that I could trust to add onto my house and build my detatched garage/workspace we've been planning for decades. Overall Bryan and his team did a remarkable job getting both buildings up on-time and in budget. He was very patient with me early in the process as I asked for references, and several modifications to the quotes before committing to start the project. Bryan always communicated any weather delays and made himself available to meet with me several times as the project progressed to ensure good communication and no surprises. Its hard to find a contractor you can trust...I found one and recomend you consider American Home Building & Refinishing, LLC for your next project."

"I needed to have the old flooring removed and the new flooring put down. They team was very professional. They realized the subflooring was messed up in a section and made sure to stop and communicate so the job can be doone correctly. I appreciated that factor and was able to approve a replacement of the messed up board the great thing was they were still able to finish the job in the time frame they originally stated! I plan to use them for all jobs moving forward. Priced fair, quality work, and friendly and professional!"

Another A+ job by Dave and his crew! Our house is 100 years old, and required a lot of sanding/priming and meticulous painting to look nice. The end result is fantastic, and we couldn't have been happier. Dave and his crew also have great ideas, and really good taste. It is so nice to have found a contractor that we can trust to take good care of our home.
