That couldn’t be farther from the truth. What we ended up using was a fiberglass siding that was far better than the usual “cheap” vinyl siding you see on most homes. It is thicker, has insulation, the clapboards are 7” vs. the double clapboards you usually see. The problem with the double is there is a common seam you see that transcends 2 simulated clapboards. We had a couple quotes from others and they didn’t even bring up the idea of a premium siding. Also, we had some unique things about our job. One was a set of windows that were sunk in. "3 Son’s Siding & Gutters LLC did my roof about four months ago.They came and gave me a price that was more than fair…3 Son’s were very professional,work very safely.They stripped two layers, found that they had to get plywood and replace the whole roof, it was a bit more but they did the plywood, re-shingled the roof in the one day.i was very impressed with the way all the workers did what needed to be done. The job was done in a day and a half,all the mess was picked up went around the house with magnets picking up all the nails.All I can say I believe they are very professional, very concerned about how my property was left I think it was cleaner than when they started.Very good crew did a great job couldn’t be any happier. "I had them remove asbestos siding on a three family house. When first contacted they promptly sent someone over to estimate the job. We accepted and they began work about 6 weeks later. Abide brought sufficient help and it appeared that they complied with all laws. The workers wore those disposable white suits, they covered windows, and taped off the area with yellow tape. It took them three days to complete the job. They completed according to contract and supplied us with all legal paperwork required. I gave them a B for quality because they brought a lift onto the site and did not mitigate by using boards under it. All in all a very good transaction.
