"First of all let me say that Adam and his associates are the most courteous and pleasant workers I have had the privilege of hiring to do a job. They arrived at the specified time and immediately got to work. These three guys worked like a fine tuned watch. They cleaned my basement of years of accumulated junk and left me with a basement that I can now see to the other end. They were neat, no damage to the yard where they hauled the material. I will use them in the future. I look forward to accumulating more junk so I can call Adam and his crew to clean after a pack rat. I highly recommend they highly. You will not be disappointed. Price is fair also. Louis"

"Mike and his crew were wonderful to work with. They were professional and always communicative, worked very neatly and executed this project very well. And they were very courteous to say the least. I ended up rehiring for a large fence removal. He also did some hauling of debris just before my house sold and went the extra mile and taking an old shelf out of the basement."

Hauling questions, answered by experts

You can cut costs and expedite the process of junk removal by following a few essential steps. Use these methods to save on junk removal costs:

  • Sorting items and debris into one area to reduce sorting costs.

  • Contacting local charities or donation centers for free or reduced-cost pickup of donations.

  • For tree-related items like branches, advertise to community members looking for free firewood.

  • Conduct one large clean-out instead of many smaller ones to reduce materials and labor costs.

You can view the bulky pickup schedule for your local area on your waste management provider’s website. They may list a schedule, prices, acceptable items, preparation guidelines, and other key information. Many providers don't operate bulky pickup on a specific schedule; instead, they require customers to schedule a one-time pickup for a specific item.

Yes, most furniture can be thrown in a dumpster. Wood items like tables, chairs, and bookshelves are generally acceptable. However, some areas have regulations prohibiting the disposal of mattresses and upholstered furniture in a dumpster. It's important to check with both the dumpster rental company for their guidelines and your local waste authority for any specific rules or potential extra fees.

Log cabins are relatively difficult to maintain compared to a traditional house. That’s because log cabins require regular upkeep and care that can include refinishing and corncob blasting, a process similar to sandblasting that shoots ground-up corncob with compressed air.

Avoid placing hazardous materials, chemicals, and electronics in dumpsters. Consult your provider's specific guidelines for detailed restrictions.
