"D&D Tree Testimonials About us Gallery Contact D&D Tree Tree Service Open today until 7:00 PM GET QUOTE Header image for the site TESTIMONIALS a week ago Hired these fellas to grind down a number of aspen stumps. They were ontime, diligent in their work, cleaned up afterwards and price was reasonable. I recommend them. ? - Rocky i 3 months ago They did an excellent job on our fence! I would highly recommend this company. - Kathy M 12 hours ago Daniel was responsive and accommodating from the first phone call! Once Daniel and his crew arrived with all the equipment they needed to remove 3 large pines, and a dead ash, we knew we chose the right company. Every single gentleman that worked at our house was professional, funny, and so obviously well experienced. Watching the teams work was like watching a symphony, they were all in tune with each other, and anticipated the other guys moves. They were very detail oriented, and worked so hard to protect all the areas that needed to be. They took every scrap away, and left the job site almost better than before they arrived. We are so pleased, and will definitely hire them again! We have more trees, and definitely landscaping that needs to be done! Thanks to ALL of you for an exciting Saturday, and a super job well done! "â â â â â A Phenomenal Experience with Sloan's Tree Service! I cannot say enough great things about Sloan's Tree Service! From the very beginning, Aric, the owner, and his wife Madison were a delight to work with. They took the time to truly collaborate with us, ensuring that we got exactly what we wanted. They were attentive to our needs and worked within our budget, which was a big plus! Aric and his team exceeded our expectations in every way. Not only did they schedule and perform the work quickly, but the results were outstanding. They removed two large trees and expertly ground the stumps until they were practically non-existent. Additionally, they cut the remaining wood into firewood-length pieces and stacked them, just as we had requested. The brush was completely cleared, and they left our yard looking immaculate. It's hard to believe the transformation our yard underwent in such a short period of time! Aric and Madison were not just fantastic professionals, but also genuinely lovely people. It was an absolute pleasure to meet and work with them. We can't recommend Sloan's Tree Service highly enough! We will certainly be referring them to all our friends, family, and neighbors. I am thrilled to have finally found a go-to "tree guy". Don't hesitate to give them a call â you won't be disappointed!"

"My neighbor had 5 trees removed by them. Watching them work I realized I was watching professionals. I hired them to have 3 very large trees removed from my property and was happy with the work both in speed and price. I will be using them from now on for all my tree service."

Customers say: Quick response

"I will echo what the other reviewers have written. Very competent, hardworking crew. Completely removed 2 trees - 1 huge leaning pine - and left fences, irrigation, and other landscaping untouched. Ground up the stump in the lawn. Shaped and trimmed three other trees away from contact with powerlines. Amazing to watch the climbers work! Immaculate clean-up afterward. We would hire them again without hesitation!"

Arborists questions, answered by experts

The typical lifespan of a Bradford pear is relatively short, only 15 to 25 years. However, these trees have issues long before their life is over. Due to their soft wood and fast-growing branches, Bradford pear trees often split around 15 years, making them a risk for falling branches and more prone to disease.

In most ways, palm trees are incredibly low-maintenance. They don’t need a ton of water—which is why they’re so beloved in desert regions—and they basically prune themselves. But they do need an ample supply of sunlight and to be in soil that will allow for proper drainage so that their roots don’t become waterlogged and at risk of developing illnesses.

If the plant begins to wilt, develop spots, or change color, these could all be signs that your palm tree has a disease. But a few basic treatments, like pruning and applying fungicide, will usually be more than enough to return it to perfect health.

Whether you grind or dig up and remove your tree stump depends on your landscaping goals. Using a stump grinder leaves the root system in place for it to decompose over time, whereas digging up the tree stump removes the roots and the stump. Overall, stump grinding is a far simpler process since you won’t need to deal with the roots. Stump removal will make your yard look like a demolition site, but you’ll have an easier time replanting in the same place as your former tree.

Yes, it’s possible to overwater a newly-planted tree. Daily watering is great for the first few weeks, but it’s important not to go overboard. Excessive watering can lead to various problems, including root rot, fungal diseases, and a lack of root development.

Generally, you do not have the right to take fruit from a neighbor's tree, even if the branches overhang your property. The fruit is considered the property of the tree's owner. While you may have the right to trim branches that cross into your yard, the fruit on them typically still belongs to your neighbor. However, laws can vary by state and municipality. In some areas, branches that extend into your yard or trees that straddle a property line may entitle you to some of the fruit. The best course of action is to speak with your neighbor, as they may be happy to share. If a conversation is not possible, check your local regulations before picking any fruit.
