"These guys were excellent. Daniel is very communicative and so helpful for the fencing process. We got our fence well under price compared to other companies and was installed within 1 week of signing the contract. Will be reaching out for more landscaping and recommending to anyone looking for similar work!"

"I am not saavy on the going rate for services but I had a good feeling when I met with Nikesh, one of the owners. His bid was the median estimate of the three companies I interviewed. Four young men showed up and worked for about 3 hours to professionally trim this beautiful ash in my back patio. They were concerned about my vision for the tree and the health of the tree itself. They hauled off branches and disposed of them in their chipper. They raked up leaves from the patio and cut some branches for future firewood for a mountain cabin. They worked well as a team. Plan on giving their name to our HOA and management company. Each one answered my questions while they were working. They were fully insured. Gratefully, Tudi T. , Glenn Oaks condos"

"Devora tree service did an amazing job trimming our trees. We were concerned about our turf getting damaged during the process but, Jesus had said that the crews would lay down tarps to protect the turf and they did. They were there on time and cleaned up very well. I will definitely hire them again in the future."

"Mike and his team did a great job taking down a large cottonwood that had grown far too close to my home. They were careful to not damage anything while removing the tree and cleaned-up all the debris when finishing. The entire operation was completed in 4 - 5 hours, very impressive and charged a fair price for the project!!"

Arborists questions, answered by experts

It may be possible, but transplanting a large, mature tree can be a tricky project, and some trees handle it better than others. If you have a tree you need to save and are considering transplanting it elsewhere, we highly suggest calling a tree removal service and arranging a consultation to see what they say (and how much a full transplant would cost).

Trees aren't big fans of moving, and they do go into shock during a transplant. Although most carefully thought-out tree transplants see the tree recover from the shock just fine, there is always a risk of having an unsuccessful move. Proper preparation, timing, and diligent aftercare are crucial to minimize the risks when transplanting a tree.

Generally, avoid trimming trees in the summer (with the exception of pruning fruit trees as needed). Trees use a lot of energy in the summer, most of which is relegated to new growth. If you chop it too early, you could stunt the next season's growth. Again, when in doubt, do some research based on the specific tree type.

As a general rule, the protected area should be about 1½ times as wide as the canopy of the tree’s leaves. This digging measurement can vary by tree species and the age of the tree. Of course, that can be a lot of fencing for larger trees, which is why our first step is about making difficult decisions on which trees to save.

Cutting down a dead tree is always strongly advisable. Aside from being an eyesore, a dead tree can be extremely hazardous, especially when it’s near people or structures. Even if the tree isn’t near your home, it can still harbor pests and diseases that can potentially spread to nearby plants and homes.
