"Beware of shipping issues with this company. Ordered an ice maker installation kit on 10/10/25. Shipping was due no later than 10/20 according to company and FedEx tracking. FedEx tracking showed the package at their facility for 8 days without moving beginning on 10/15. Called FedEx 3 times. Each time they said they cannot find package and I have to contact shipper. Shipper has to make a claim, they will not mark it as lost. Called Appliance Parts Pros twice. Each time they say FedEx has to mark package lost before they will do anything. They also state they have to wait 14 days from them before doing anything because of their contract with FedEx. I don't care about their contract, I want what was ordered and paid for. Just going in circles with them and FedEX. If they shipped after 14 days it would be 22 days from that point, 32 days from the date of order if they shipped it that day. There was a deadline for installing this part before tenants arrive. They did not care, would not m"

"This is the first online review I've ever written -- my experience with this company was that bad. Three aspects that deserve attention: 1) I placed an order and tried to cancel six minutes later. Turns out they don't accept cancellations. 2) I couldn't find a phone number, so I had to work the return/refund by email. The exchange was painful -- so unhelpful I felt like I was interacting with a bad chatbot. 3) I ended up eating shipping costs (expected) and got hit for a 50% restocking fee (unexpected) because I refused the package instead of paying to ship it back. Didn't matter that it went to the correct address, was clearly labeled, and had prior return authorization. "Ordered a trash compactor, dishwasher, and outdoor gas grill May 2023. Sales and delivery process was ok. You are on your own for installation. Salesman assured me "... we have a 3rd party installation company that does installation for us." At best misleading and disingenuous. SW Appliance will not even accept any responsibility or involvement in coordinating the installation. Calling and texting every installer name they gave me for months. Couple of call backs but, no commitments. One did come out for the new gas grill. Got the old grill out and the new one unboxed. Then realized the grill surround required some modifications. Said they would need to come back the next day with parts. They just left the $10k grill sitting on the ground and I never heard from them again. Now Sep 23 and SW Appliance left me with a trash compactor sticking halfway out from under the counter and a gas grill sitting on the ground. Canceled the dishwasher order. Buyer beware."
