"Worst moving experience I have ever had! I was in the hospital for an organ transplant, but my lease was ending and i had to move. I contacted Square Cow and they were GREAT on the phone. I explained that I needed my entire house packed up and moved on a precise day. They said that was no problem and they would take special care given the fact that I was hospitalized. 2 days before the scheduled move, they call my wife and tell her that they have a scheduling problem and they are coming THAT DAY. She explains that she isn't ready for them and they tell here that if they can't come that day, the deal is off. It is too late to schedule anyone else, so we have to let them come and start packing. They arrive, and right when one of the packers comes through our door he yells, "Aw F* C& no!" which did not give my wife much confidence. She called the company to talk to them about this and was told once again, if you don't like it, call someone else. They threw everything in boxes with no regard for safety or fragile items. Most of my tools were stolen. So many things were broken, we almost couldn't count them all. Their breakage sheet allows for three items. We were told we could not create our own claim sheet beyond what theirs allowed for. We ended up losing $18,000 worth of our stuff to theft and breakage and were told that's too bad. They did not put any boxes in the rooms they were labeled for. 80% just got stuck in the garage. My wife was left to move them into the house by herself. I cannot warn you enough DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are terrible and they realize that they are in control if you absolutely have to move on a certain day. They completely took advantage of us and stole so many of our valuables. STAY AWAY!!!"

"They arrived promptly and carefully loaded the piano and bench. Then they drove to the new location, unloaded everything carefully, and set up the piano. They had to move the piano through a narrow door on the way, but did this successfully and with no damage. Then after the piano had settled down I had them come back and tune it. This was done meticulously and the piano sounds good. I paid $125 for moving and $125 for tuning."

"While the move itself was ok and the team that moved my items were friendly and very hard working, the post move close out has been terrible. There were a few items damaged and missing after the move was complete. I'm not surprised or upset by this, it happens, but after filing a claim through their system and contacting the Claims Representative, Larrisa Lord, numerous times via phone and email, I've had no resolution. Unless they actually answer their phone, which is extremely rare, all attempts at contact have been ignored. Last I heard, over two months ago now, my claim was pending approval for compensation for my lost and damaged items. Since then nothing and I can't seem to get anyone on the phone or by email. I do not recommend Amazing Moves and my realtor has removed them from his company's recommended list."

"MiniMoves Inc. was very efficient in handling our small move. They were responsive in getting a quote to us and setting up a pickup time. The 3 men (Tay, C.J. & Chay) who showed up in a timely fashion, carefully packed up all our items and were very professional and respective in our home. Our items were received at the other end of the move quicker than expected. Again the men who delivered our items were very professional and communicated well with us. All of our items, many of which were valuable art pieces were delivered and unpacked in perfect condition. We couldn't be happier with this small move experience. We will definitely use them again for another small move in the future. We are gradually moving our belongings from Chicago to Palm Desert, CA in setting up our winter home. So glad we found MiniMoves."

Road Scholars Moving & Storage
Road Scholars Moving & Storage
Denver Movers - specializing in local moving (Denver metro area), long distance moving, residential moving, commercial moving, loading or unloading rental trucks, moving items within your home, home staging, delivery service, commercial packers and residential packing services, large moves, small moves and storage. Homes, Apartments, Offices, Retail Stores, etc.
"WARNING!!! I hired this company for a move on 8/31. The salesman, was professional and adamant about me paying a 200.00 deposit. That is something that I have never heard after moving many times in the Denver area, but they were available when I needed them, and they had good reviews. A long story shorter. I hired them, paid a lot of money to move my big home from Elizabeth to Highlands Ranch. Some of my things were scratched, but I was willing to let it go. The night of the move, as they did not arrive until nearly noon, I went to pull something out of my dressers in my master suite, and found that the clothing that I had painstakingly folded was all wadded up, and keeping the drawers from opening at all... I left town on business for a week, so when I got back, I started putting my house in order. It took a few days to get to my master suite. When I did, I found that I had to pull items of clothing out of each dresser drawer, through a small crack, until the drawer was 1/2 empty, then they would open. In one of my dressers, I had a small chest with an expensive auto-knife collection, and some of my watches, also packed tightly within the clothing. When I pulled the chest out of the dresser, I noticed that there were items missing. I surmised that the reason all of my folded clothing was now wadded up, and stuffed haphazardly into the dresser, keeping the drawers from opening, is that the crew went through my dressers looking for valuables to steal. I contacted the lead, of the crew at Road Scholars, as we had befriended each other during the move, and even sent him a sample picture of one my missing knifes, but not of all of them. Within an hour, the Road Scholars lead (I will withhold names here) Texted me back asking, "Is this your knife"? Along with a picture of my knife matching that picture. Since the crew shrink wrapped my dressers at the original house, and cut the plastic off, with me standing there at the new house, that picture of my knife, proved that the crew went through my drawers (And wadded up all my clothing therein) at the original house, prior to shrink-wrapping the dressers. It was at that point that I realized that the Road Scholars crew had robbed me, before shrink-wrapping my dressers. There is more to this story, as I have discovered thousands of dollars of "other" missing items, and have filed a police report for theft, with the Douglas and Elbert County Sheriff's Departments this morning, 9/13/2021. I also called the owner of Road Scholars, and left a message. She has not had the courtesy to contact me. And I called the GM, and while he was attentive, he made it sound like these thieves would A) Not lose their jobs, and B) Were out there right now, at someones house. When he told me that they were coming to my house on 8/31, he called them the "A team"... I just wanted to write a review immediately, because this, "crew of thieves", and their other crews are somewhere out there, right now, very likely stealing from one of you. It has been two days, and the owner, has not communicated with me. Disrespectful company, and owner, with thieves moving your things. Don't hire thieves. Update: 9/14/21, I finally heard from the owner. She was exceptionally rude and denied everything, basically, calling me a liar, until I indicated that her lead had texted me a picture of my knife on Saturday. She quoted the text chain, during our conversation, from her lead, so she knew her crew had stolen from me, before she even called... So she lied to me as well. She interrupted me 30 times in a ten minute conversation, each time with her trying to put words into my mouth. She continually called herself stupid, and ignorant, and I do not understand why she acted so bizarre. I am the victim of her company. I finally couldn't take any more, since it is her company that sent thieves into my house, and they stole nearly $20,000.00 worth of my things, but I would imagine that I will find missing things for years... Don't do business with this person."

FAQs for professional moving service piano projects in Gilcrest, CO
Before your piano movers arrive, it’s a good idea to prep the piano for its journey to avoid damage, as well as clear a path to make the move as easy as possible. You can start by using bubble wrap and moving blankets to protect the keys, lids, and pedals. Drape moving blankets over the piano and secure them, if possible, to protect the surface from damage. Next, clear furniture and other obstructions out of the path from the piano to the door. It’s also wise to maintain a close spot for the moving truck to park out front.
Yes, it is absolutely worth it to hire piano movers. Pianos are heavy and bulky, which makes them very challenging to move safely and without causing damage to the piano and your home. Hiring piano movers is especially worthwhile if you need to move the instrument up or down staircases, as that can put you and your helpers at risk of serious injury. Overall, the price you’ll pay to hire a professional piano mover pales in comparison to the damage you could do to your piano or your home if you attempt the move yourself.
It is not necessary to tip piano movers, and workers from reputable companies generally won’t expect tips. However, if you’re pleased with the service and the movers are friendly and respectful, tipping can show your appreciation for how well the crew cared for what is likely a very expensive instrument. Tipping between $20 and $40 per mover is about average.
It is certainly possible to move a piano without hiring movers, but it’s not recommended. Not only will you need at least four people to lift and maneuver the piano, but getting it around tight corners and down flights of stairs might not be possible without the help of movers. Plus, pianos are exceptionally heavy and bulky, which means you and any helping hands are at risk of injury, as well as an increased risk of damaging your piano. Ultimately, it’s always worth it to call in a professional piano mover.
The average cost to move a piano is around $400, but your total will depend on the type of piano and your living situation—tight corners and flights of stairs will complicate the move. Moving an upright piano will be more affordable—around $250—and a full grand piano will cost closer to $550. Long-distance moves will bump all of these prices up and sometimes double them if the move is across state lines.
