Called several other â 24 Hour â garage door services who told me they were â bookedâ at 8:45 PM? Eric came out & had the repair complete in 1 hour. Excellent work, my wife and I were extremely grateful. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs quality, reliable service.

What I liked about Sky Castle was that they were able to schedule a time to replace my old 2-car wooden door with a new insulated steel door within a week of submitting a bid. Apparently they have good inventory in stock. What I didn't like about Sky Castle is they told us to replace the motor when it stopped working after they put in the new garage door. They quoted $600 to replace it. Luckily, I have experience with how motors operate, and the problem was easily remedied by replacing a $15 capacitor that had gone bad. The manager/supervisor justified his recommendation to replace the entire motor/opener because they do not service equipment older than 15 years. Despite that, a blown capacitor is common issue and is easily replaced. The way you can tell if a capacitor is faulty is if when you try to open the door, the motor makes a buzzing sound. The capacitor provides an initial boost of power to start the motor.

It was a high quality garage door with excellent installation. I would hire them again.
