When I contacted Lucy about our concrete job, she responded very quickly and provided me with photos of recent work along with a list of references to contact. She and I corresponded for about a week discussing the scope of work, and I provided photos and some basic measurements for her to give me a and quot;ballparkand quot; figure for the cost of the job. Once I decided to hire her, she came to the house to see the job in person, take measurements and discuss some of the design elements of the patio and front stoop. Once we finalized our contract, her foreman got started on the work right away, he and his crew had the work done within one week and it turned out very well. As with any project there were a few minor bumps and small delays, but they worked through it, communicated very well and did a fantastic job. "       This was an Angie's List coupon deal.  He ignored my instructions that the jobs I most wanted done required a tall ladder.  Fortunately I had some other fixture installations I wanted done that did not require such a ladder.  Otherwise, this might have been a complete fiasco.   He did do a good job of those installations, minimizing damage to the walls and ceiling involved.  So I might hire him again to do a job of that kind that does not require substantial ladders. 
         However, it seems that he does not own ladders and obviously it was annoying that my instructions about the need for ladders to do the jobs I most needed doing were ignored.  The answer about employing again is really "maybe" rather than "yes" but you do not offer that option.
