"I cannot recommend Simple Home Energy Solutions (SHES) highly enough. Rob, the owner, did an excellent job of explaining all of the issues that he found during our initial home energy audit, and provided a number of options at different price points to improve the comfort level of my home. He also suggested things that could be done later, separately, if that worked better for our budget. We chose to do everything all at once, and it has made a huge difference. Rob was onsite at my house each day that his guys were working - and was actively working alongside them. He was proactive in his communication with me, and always made sure that I knew when to expect him. The job was scheduled and completed quickly and effectively enough that I am anticipating a sizeable rebate from Xcel Energy. Our house is a 2 story + basement that was built in the early 2000s, and the builder did not do a great job with the insulation. The 2 bedrooms that are over the garage were freezing in the winter, and sweltering in the summer. Rob's team did a dense pack of insulation, where they drilled holes in the ceiling of the garage and blew insulation up into the space below the floor in those bedrooms. It took 25 bags of insulation - and it made an immediate difference in comfort (my preschooler no longer had to wear multiple layers of pajamas!). We had our attic 'air sealed' and had additional insulation added up there, and had our bay window bump-outs insulated from below, as well as other smaller projects. It is impossible to overstate how pleased I am with the work performed or the interactions/communication that I have had with SHES."
