My old house is so small (under 550 sq ft) that it was not likely to be worth much time and attention from an insulation contractor. But bids on my job varied a LOT. Bob Moreno's was not the lowest, but his attention to detail, and to creative 'extras' impressed me enough that I chose his company to do the work. NO REGRETS. And then, on the job, he noticed other things he could 'throw in' to help make my nearly 100 year old house more weather-proof (around the doors, in the crawl-space). And he just DID those things. No price adjustment. Even after I had paid the bill for the basic job, he and his team came back to finish up these extras. This is the kind of company I want to work with: they did the job meticulously and on schedule and honestly. What more could anyone ask?

I chose Simple Home Energy Solutions after getting several bids for doing spray foam in the attic. His experience was clearly superior to the other contractors. Robert identified several problems right away (missing insulation, mold in attic and squirrel nests) and was able to redo the insulation in the time frame I needed. He communicated with me throughout the process and made sure any problems we found were addressed. I would definitely work with him again for future insulation work.

I cannot recommend Simple Home Energy Solutions (SHES) highly enough. Rob, the owner, did an excellent job of explaining all of the issues that he found during our initial home energy audit, and provided a number of options at different price points to improve the comfort level of my home. He also suggested things that could be done later, separately, if that worked better for our budget. We chose to do everything all at once, and it has made a huge difference. Rob was onsite at my house each day that his guys were working - and was actively working alongside them. He was proactive in his communication with me, and always made sure that I knew when to expect him. The job was scheduled and completed quickly and effectively enough that I am anticipating a sizeable rebate from Xcel Energy. Our house is a 2 story + basement that was built in the early 2000s, and the builder did not do a great job with the insulation. The 2 bedrooms that are over the garage were freezing in the winter, and sweltering in the summer. Rob's team did a dense pack of insulation, where they drilled holes in the ceiling of the garage and blew insulation up into the space below the floor in those bedrooms. It took 25 bags of insulation - and it made an immediate difference in comfort (my preschooler no longer had to wear multiple layers of pajamas!). We had our attic 'air sealed' and had additional insulation added up there, and had our bay window bump-outs insulated from below, as well as other smaller projects. It is impossible to overstate how pleased I am with the work performed or the interactions/communication that I have had with SHES.

Rob is very helpful in explaining what needs to be done to maximize efficiency. He and his crew were here three days, adding insulation throughout the house. The bedroom above our garage has always been cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Now it's much more temperate. Great job. Highly recommended.

Rob was very pleasant to work with, friendly and honest. He did an amazing job on dry wall we added on our third garage. He also helped us a good reference to paint our garage.

Rob contacted me very quickly and set up a consultation for the next day, on a weekend, to take a look at my crawlspace. He also took a quick look at my attic and determined some ways to optimize the existing insulation. The price was very reasonable and I was able to have the work done just three days after making the initial request.

The men were very efficient, considerate, and explained about what they were doing and why. I like that when the attic work was completed, I was invited to climb up the attic to view the competed job.

Rob did amazing work. Showed us every step of the way what he was doing. Sealed the whole house our electric bill went from. 400 per month down to 200 per month on the hottest months. Get job. Good price for all the work and product that was used. Also he uses a infrared camera to show you the before and after air leaks. Before the job it was the whole ceiling had air leaks into the wall, after they were all gone and the temperature in the lattice had dropped 45%. Great company. Thanks Rob. Great company

Our house was built in 1964. Rob was careful to make sure things got done right as we went along and was willing and able to pick up where the HVAC and home warranty companies were not. Great communication and customer service!

I hired Home Energy Solutions to seal my attic, blow in additional insulation and seal my doors. First day went great with the owner here supervising the work and then things went down hill fast. Crew damaged my ceiling drywall from the attic side which after 5 or 6 tries to fix it now looks "ok" but is still very visible. My front door now has visible light coming under it (which it did not before) and two of my other doors are next to impossible to lock and the crew refused did the pressure test but refused to give me the results. I would not recommend this company at any cost.

Punctual and efficient.

Rob installed a poly floor in our crawl space and sealed it around the sides and posts. He also applied foam sealer around the entire foundation where the framing meets it. Then he replaced about the insulation which needed it (about a third). We selected this company from several bids, and we are very glad we did. Rob is honest and easy to work with. I recommend his company .

Simple Home Energy helped us insulate and seal our attic. They were prompt and professional and did a great job. They were even able to installed a bathroom fan in our upstairs bathroom for a reasonable cost. Rob and his team are great!

Did not make aware that wall could have had all spray foam instead of asumming that I could not afford the more expensive option .
