"Sean, who is the owner of Third Gen garage doors is an awful person. The ?Wolf in sheep?s clothing?. He will talk a great story but does not deliver on his promises. Two of the garage doors had manufacturers defects that CHI was covering to have replaced. The problem is that it took over 3 years to get anything done on warrant. Then Sean wanted us to pay him $1600.00 to for the labor on warranty work! I called the main office of CHI and they said that ?he was just trying to rip you off, CHI covers all labor for warranty work?. I mentioned that to Sean and he proceeded to call me multiple vulgar names and that he wasn?t going to do anything to help us. What makes this extra bad is that Sean has been using photos of my house as the primary pictures on his website! I strongly recommend to stay far away from Third gen!"

I was thinking I would get call backs on Monday. He reached out, gave me clear times, prices and sent pictures of the unit he would install all on Sunday. AND then they said my springs were bad and needed to be replaced and quoted me up to $1500 to "replace 2 garage door springs". I had a different company come out for a second opinion. They checked out my garage doors, said the springs do NOT need replacing, and did a minor tightening, which they did for free... Don's Garage Doors company had attempted to upsell me on unnecessary parts, misrepresented the coupons they had sent out, and truly upset me to the point of needing to publicly post about my experience."
